“Aye, man!”

She batted her eyelashes at him and innocently asked, “What?”

He shook his head. “Aight. Playin’ dirty. I like it. Just make sure ya jaw is ready for this dick.”

Teonny barked out a laugh. The rest of the time they spent hyper-focused on their grilled cheeses. They playfully bumpedinto each other here and there and tried to distract each other so their grilled cheeses burned.

By the time the timer went off, Teonny no longer had pants on because she had tried to distract Prosper with her lace panties. Prosper was stripped down to his boxers to distract her with his abs and big ass print.

The heat in the kitchen was at an all-time high, and it wasn’t from the grilled cheeses.

“How we gonna judge this? Ain’t we just gonna be biased?” Prosper asked.

Teonny shook her head. “Let’s just promise to set our competitiveness aside and be honest. Can you do that, daddy?”

She ran a finger down his chest, and his brows rose. “Can you?”

She giggled. “Yeah, come on before they get cold.”

“Aight. Ladies first. What you got for the appetizer?”

Her eyes lit up. “I used sourdough bread with sharp cheddar cheese, bacon bits, jalapeno, and a drizzle of honey.”

“Damn,” he hissed. “That sounds good as fuck, I won’t lie.”

They each picked up a small square of the grilled cheese and tasted it.

Teonny beamed. “This is good as hell.”

“Yeah, it is, man. What you rate it?”

“Eight out of ten.”

He nodded. “I was gonna say nine.”

Teonny did a little dance as she made a note of her score on her phone. “What you got, sir?”

Prosper gave her a cocky smirk. “I got this shit called fontina cheese with the pear and turkey on this toasted baguette.”

Teonny’s brows rose as she took a bite. “Damn. This is good too.”

“What you rate it?”

“I’ma say eight out of ten.”

“I say seven.”

“Okay, look at us being fair.”

They laughed and went on like that for the next two courses. Teonny made a grilled cheese with ham and American cheese on garlic Texas toast for her entrée, and cream cheese and apple slices cooked in brown sugar and cinnamon on raisin bread for her dessert. Prosper made a steak grilled cheese on white bread with provolone and gouda, and for his dessert, he made a mascarpone spread with strawberries and honey on toasted brioche bread.

“Damn, this is close,” Proser said after they gave their final scores.

Teonny’s brows dipped as she tapped on her phone, tallying everything up. “You won by one point.”

Prosper grinned. “Dead ass?”

Teonny pouted. “That steak sandwich did it. It was so good.” She groaned as she reached for the sandwich and took a bite.
