He looks up and pushes a curl off my forehead. “I did that now because I’ll never get the chance to kiss you again…as a single woman.”

“Save it for the altar, you two,” Jasmine breaks in. “You’ll have lots of time to kiss later; right now we need to make you beautiful.”

“Jess is already beautiful,” Jacob says.

“And he's mine, so I can kiss him whenever I want.”

I put my hands on either side of his face, pull his lips to mine, and kiss him one last time before we begin the rest of our lives together.
