“Hey, Stud!” Red calls out, getting my attention.
“Yeah, Tasha MaDick,” I yell out.
“Take me to bed or lose me forever,” she declares, doing a very bad impression from that cheesy movie she made me watch the other day.
I slap Shaft on the back. “Have fun babysitting tonight, old man.”
“What? Where did Bree go? Damn it, Keys!”
I laugh but mostly ignore him as I go scoop my woman up.
Red giggles, curling her arms up around my neck.
“I love you, Cade.”
“I love you, too, Red. I’ll never stop.”
“If you try, I’ll kick your ass,” she mutters, making me laugh.
Red is the perfect old lady, and she’s all mine. Life is good.
