“Okay, okay,” Kairo shoves his hands between us. “Damn, Mad, save some for the rest of us.”

We pile into the SUV, and I’m buckling my seatbelt when Roman catches my attention. “We have a surprise for you, but you can’t peek. Close your eyes and only open them when we say you can.”

My brows rise. “A surprise? What are you three planning?”

Kairo turns, leaning over the center console from the passenger seat. “Just trust us, Thorn. You’re gonna love it.”

I comply, vibrating in my seat with anticipation as the car takes turns and winds through roads. The minutes trickle by, and my fingers thrum on the seat until Maddox intertwines our hands. His thumb brushes over mine, and I’m transported back to the first time we rode in the car together.

“Are you thinking of that time?” He whispers huskily to me.

I swallow, nodding.

“I was awake, you know? I wanted a taste of you so bad that I pretended to sleep. Even then, you consumed me, Songbird.”

His hand leaves mine before trailing to my thigh. I suck in a breath, keeping my eyes closed as he explores my legs with heated touches. My lower belly twinges as arousal drips from me. My thighs rub together, trapping his hand in the crook as he chuckles darkly.

The next second, the car comes to a stop, and I hear Roman and Kairo unbuckling their seatbelts.

“Can I open my eyes?” I ask.

“Not yet,” Kairo tuts. “Be patient, Thorn.”

I grumble under my breath as they help me out of the SUV. There’s gravel beneath my boots, and two hands wrap around mine to guide me. We step onto a concrete path, and my heels crunch over the walkway as my curiosity only grows. They stop before turning me to face the left, and my brow furrows. “We’re still outside.”

“We are,” Roman whispers. “Open your eyes.”

My eyelids flutter until I’m blinking at an above-ground grave. It’s paved with cement, with a large, light tombstone rising from it that reads: Jordan Elsher, beloved daughter and sweetheart of Mystic.

I scowl at it. “My bully’s grave.You shouldn’t have.”

I remember when she passed. It was three years after high school. She already had two DUIs under her belt and couldn’t bother to stop partying. Her Blood Alcohol Level was through the roof the night she wrapped her car around a tree.

Kairo puts his arms around my shoulders. “But we should have, Thorn. We’re turning a bad memory into a good one.Grab her.”

Roman hoists me up onto the grave, knocking the wind out of me as he flips me onto my hands and knees. “What are you doing?!”

Maddox grabs my cheeks, staring at me through hungryeyes. “Showing this town that you possess us. In every way, Songbird. When you think of Mystic, we want you to only remember this night.”

They’re going to take me. On her grave.

It’s sick. It’s so fucked up.

And it has me aching.

My panties are soaked, and I make no moves to stop them. I’m caught in the trance of Maddox’s dark gaze, wholly consumed by the depravity in him. I guess I’m not as sane as I once thought, because I feel so hot.

Roman pulls my tights down, bunching them near the center of my thighs and baring my ass to the nighttime air. He gives my left cheek a stinging slap, making a moan crest past my lips as Maddox holds my face tenderly.

“She’s fucking soaked,” Roman growls.

Kairo comes into view, squatting down beside Maddox as his head tilts. “Do you like this, Thorn? Your men claiming you over a fucking grave?”

“Yes,” I breathe as my core clenches. Roman’s hands are all over me, his thumb brushing over my damp folds and making my legs shake.

“I want to see that pretty face while he ruins you,” Kairo whispers.

Roman notches himself at my entrance, his piercings cold against my skin, before he thrusts forward and I take his full length. My mouth falls open as my palms dig into the concrete beneath them. The sound of skin slapping fills the air as I’m jolted forward with every brutal mesh of Roman’s hips to mine.
