Both Colton and Cobra simultaneously said, “Whatever.”

“Now I have to go claim my lady for a dance,” Cobra said. “I suggest the two of you find yours.”

Then he walked over to where Desiree was talking to his parents and his sisters-in-law, Victoria and Kelly. He had no doubt that his brothers would not be far behind him. They never strayed far from their wives, and Cobra understood. He was happiest when he was close to his woman, too.

At that moment, he was glad the Masters triplets weren’t masters of the game anymore. Now they were winners in the game of love.

Cobra opened the door to his home and stood aside as Desiree entered. “The wedding was beautiful, wasn’t it?” she said.

He thought she looked so damn good in that dress. It showed all her delectable curves. “Yes, it was a nice wedding. I’m happy for them.”

“I am, too. They’re nice. In fact, everyone I met was nice. And your parents are super.”

“Yes, I think I’ll keep them,” he grinned.

“You’d better. And have I told you how much I like your Savannah home?” she asked, glancing around.

He smiled as he closed the door and walked over to her. “I believe you have. A number of times, in fact. I’m glad you like it.”

“It’s so stately.”

“And you, my love, are so beautiful. I love the dress you’re wearing. I enjoyed watching you putting it on earlier, and I’m going to love taking it off of you now.”

“You think so, do you?” she said.

“Watch me.” Ignoring her shriek of laughter, he swept her into his arms and carried her up the stairs.”

“You don’t mess around, do you, Cobra?”

“Not when it’s something I want. And I want you. It was hard to keep my hands off you at the wedding. Now I don’t have to.”

They entered his bedroom, and he placed her on the bed. More than ever, he was glad he had replaced the furniture in here. He’d also had Tomb permanently disconnect the video cameras. His friend had been surprised when he’d told him that he had ended the bet, but Cobra insisted he’d make it right by paying Straw the two hundred dollars Tomb would owe him. Although the security business was doing extremely well, Tomb and his wife, Erica, had four little Tombstones under the age of seven.

When Desiree began removing her shoes, he walked over to her, sat down on the bed beside her, and said, “Let me.”

Placing her legs across his lap, he removed her shoes, though he couldn’t resist caressing her legs. He loved the smooth feel of them. He really wanted to get her out of her dress, but he had something important to do first. He got up from the bed, then knelt in front of her.

“Cobra? What are you doing?”

He smiled as he pulled a small white box from his tuxedo jacket. Instead of answering her question, he asked one of his own. “Allison Desiree Sharpe, will you make me the happiest man alive and become my wife? I asked Richard’s permission, and he said yes. I promise I will do everything in my power to make you happy.”

“Oh, Cobra,” she said. “Yes, I will marry you.” Tears sprang to her eyes when he slid the ring on her finger.

“It’s beautiful,” she said, gazing at it.

She threw her arms around him. “And I promise I will do everything I can to make you happy, as well.”

He believed her. Since the night they’d declared their love, his life had never been better. She made him happy.Extremelyhappy. Rising to his feet, he said. “Now to dispense with this dress.”

They undressed each other in record time, and then he put on a condom. He glanced over at her, knowing she had been watching his every move. “Just so you know. Before Richard would give his permission for me to marry you, I had to agree to one thing.”

Desiree lifted a brow, smiling. “Oh? And what one thing is that?”

“That we wouldn’t wait too long to give him a great-grandchild.”

“And you agreed to it?”
