He also couldn’t waste what time he had with her. Every minute had to count. And if this was what she needed then he’d give it to her. He needed to keep it together. Right now, the last thing she needed was for him to fall apart on her. He’d done that earlier when he’d walked out. From now on, he took care of her. He gave her what she needed. He put her first.
And if he needed to fall apart, he’d make damn sure not to do it in her presence. He knew she would disagree. That she might see it as him hiding himself from her. But she had enough to go through. He’d be her rock. If she wanted to do everything on that bucket list, he’d make it happen even if the idea of letting her jump from a plane terrified him. And if she needed him to dominate her he’d do that too. Normal. Their normal.
“Jake? Is everything all right?” There was an uncertainty to her voice and he knew he’d taken too long.
“No.” He turned with the small bag he’d drawn from his suitcase.
Her eyes widened.
“You’re not naked and in position.”
The tension in her body eased and she smiled. “Sorry, Sir.” She quickly stood and then slowly started to strip. Brat. She knew exactly how she was affecting him. She was slowly coming to understand that he thought she was beautiful. He knew it might take her a while not to see all her supposed faults. But right now, she was putting on one hell of a sexy strip show.
When she reached for her bra, his heart sped up. Her breasts spilled free. He stared at them for a moment, feeling his anger stir.
No. No, he couldn’t allow the cancer invading her body change the way he perceived a single part of her. Her breasts were as beautiful as they always were. To prove that point to himself and to her, he stepped forward, dropping the bag so he could cup her breasts. He drew them up and pushed them together so he could lick at her nipples. He sucked on first one then the other. Her breathing grew sharper, faster.
She reached up and ran her hands through his hair. “Jake.”
He drew back, giving her a stern look. “What do you call me?”
“Sir.”
“That’s right. Now get those panties off, which, by the way, you are not allowed to wear, and find your position.”
He picked up the bag, placing it on the bed as she scrambled into place. She knelt with her knees slightly apart, her hands resting palms up on her thighs.
“Is that the position you should be in?” He tapped her leg with his foot. She widened them slightly. “You seem to have forgotten quite a lot, kitten. I couldn’t fit a spreader bar in my bag, but I’m sure if I asked at reception that they could come up with something I could use. I’m resourceful like that.”
She quickly pushed her legs out wide. He had to bite back a smile as he pulled his supplies from the bag. He hadn’t brought everything, of course. It wouldn’t fit, and some things might have set alarm bells off at customs. Not that customs in Rarotonga seemed to be terribly thorough.
Hmm . . . but maybe reception could help him out with something else.
“Kitten, I want you to go and have a long shower. I’ve got something I need to do first.”
She looked at him in puzzlement then opened her mouth, clearly about to question him.
“Now. Or you won’t be allowed to come tonight.”
She jumped up and practically flew into the bathroom.
Molly came out about fifteen minutes later, a towel wrapped around her. Jake shook his head as he saw her. “Towel. Off.”
Yeah, she figured that would happen.
“Come here.” He pointed at a spot in front of him. She came to a stop, watching him. Excitement stirred her. Taking a long shower had been torturous.
“Turn around. Let me see all of you. Slowly.”
She moved in a circle, blushing slightly as he studied her. When she faced him once
again, he gave her a small nod of satisfaction. Then he turned back to the bed to grab something. When he turned, her interest was piqued as she saw what was in his hand. “Is that a harness?”
“Yes, with a clit stimulator.”
He knelt and touched her foot. “Hold onto me and I’ll slide this on.”
He drew the harness up over her legs. “Spread wide.”
