His groan comes out loudly as I take all of him in. "Fuck, you're tight," he moans as I begin to roll my hips on top of him.

Flint pulls me closer, capturing my nipple in his mouth and sucking on it hard, making me cry out with pleasure. I ride him as his hands explore my tits and curves, eventually landing on my ass, which he gives a hard smack. My movements become faster until I'm no longer able to control myself, and my orgasm explodes as I cry out into the living room.

Flint digs his fingers into my hips, joining me tumbling over the cliff, and I lean down, capturing his mouth as the last moan escapes his lips.

With my stomach incredibly full, Flint takes my hand as we walk out of Mare Pacificum onto the beach. We kick off our shoes before reaching the waves, and I pull him close to me, resting my head against his muscular arm.

"This was such a great birthday trip. Thank you, babe," I say with a sigh.

Flint turns me toward him, looking down at me with an intensity that makes my stomach flip.

"I love you so damn much, birthday girl," he growls.

I wrap my arms around his neck and pull myself up to my tiptoes as he leans forward, kissing me.

"I love you too, lumberjack," I tease.

The sun sets in our peripheral vision, but we only have eyes for each other.

"I've never been loved like the way you love me," Flint says, his voice breaking, and then suddenly he slips from my arms.

He drops to one knee in the waves, pulling out a ring box and flipping it open. I gasp, my hand flying to my mouth.

"Petula Delvaux, I'm not one with words, but I love you and I want to make you happy for the rest of your life. Will you allow me to be your husband?"

"Of course," I say, joining him on my knees as the waves splash against us, kissing his face all over.

Flint slides the princess-cut ring onto my finger, and I admire it in the orange and pink light of the sunset.

"It's beautiful, hon."

I look up, seeing him staring at me.

"Not as beautiful as you, babe."

Epilogue

Flint

I stand out backof the diner, which Sheila and Nancy have decorated in the most adorable summery way. The floral arch above me smells incredible as I watch Petula's sister, Joelle, walk down the aisle in her maid of honor dress. When she reaches me and gets in position, the bridal procession starts. Our family and friends stand, turning to see my beautiful bride step out from behind the trees.

Emotion catches in my throat as I watch my curvy love walk slowly down the aisle, grinning at me with her eyes glistening. She's wearing a flowing white dress that hugs her curves perfectly; her auburn hair cascades over her shoulders in soft waves. I've seen no one so beautiful in my entire life.

When she reaches me, we clasp hands, and I whisper, "Are you ready?"

"For the rest of my life, I am ready," Petula says.

The officiant begins the ceremony, but I barely hear the words. I'm too busy staring at the woman in front of me, the woman who crashed into my driveway in a snowstorm and turned my entire world upside down.

Who would have thought a runaway bride from Vegas would end up being the love of my life?
