“That’s my girl,” he growled. “You’re going to come again for me.”
He bit my lip, and I nodded, panting with each heavy breath. My arousal started to leak out, dripping down my thighs as Sebastian let out a low groan.
My moans grew louder again, my body tensing, and I completely let go, reaching that climax. So much pleasure hit me at once, heat burning through my body like molten lava. It sent him over the edge, too. His body jerked, releasing everything into me. He pulled out and then thrust his length back into me, making me gasp, before he slowed his motions and withdrew.
He shifted his arms, and I felt him wrap his shirt around me, doing the buttons up, as his lips stayed on mine.
“Sebastian,” I whispered, pulling away.
We needed to talk. I needed to know what was going on with him. He wasn’t himself. If we didn’t do it now, I was scared that we’d drift apart for good.
He kissed my forehead. “Yeah.”
Before I had a chance to speak, his phone started ringing, and he stepped away to answer, his heat leaving with him.
“Hayden, what’s up? … Yeah, I’ll come there now.”
He cut the call, placing his phone back in his pocket. “I need to go out.”
“We need to—”
He cut me off. “Later, Nyx. Logan will take you to work in the morning.”
“But—”
He kissed me. “I’ll see you later.”
Then he rushed out of the door, leaving me cold and alone once again.
I wrapped my arms around my body, trying to hold on to a part of him. Anything.
But for the first time, I feared it might be too late.

“What the fuck is this?” I threw my pen across the desk as Dad and Caspian walked into the office.
“That’s not how you greet work associates, son,” Dad said, as they sat in the chairs in front of me.
Fucking work associates. More like leeches that wanted to drain everything from me. I hadn’t seen Dad since the day we had our fake family dinner. The day I nearly lost it with him.
“Sebastian …” Aria trailed off as she walked into the office, everyone turning to face her. She gave them an awkward smile. “Coffee?”
“That would be delightful, Aria,” Dad said, smiling at her.
She turned on her heels and bustled back out of the office. Logan wouldn’t have long dropped her off, and I knew she’d come in to talk about last night.
It was becoming harder and harder to hide everything from her. I wanted to come clean, but I didn’t want her to get caught up in it. Get hurt because of me.
“Why are you here, Dad?”
“As the majority shareholder, I thought I would come check on my asset.”
“It’s doing fine. You can go.”
He let out a laugh. “Don’t be so hasty, son. Caspian has been filling me in.”
