“Follow them,” I instruct Aldo.

“On it, boss.”

We follow the car for about ten minutes, all the way downtown again, making sure to keep some distance between us so that no one in the car notices that we’re following them. The driver pulls up in front of what looks like a baby store, while we park across the street.

I watch as Aria gets out of the car. Even though I’m mad at her for keeping such a huge secret from me, my dick begins to harden at just the sight of her. She’s glowing, and she looks sofucking delicious. Seeing her body ripe with my child is doing all kinds of funny things to my insides.

I honestly can’t wait to get my cock inside her juicy cunt again. I want her, but I also want to punish her. Maybe I’ll just fuck her until I get tired of her or until the baby is born before sending her back here. As soon as that fleeting thought crosses my mind, I push it away because I would never do something so cruel to her.

It’s torture to continue sitting in this car and not walk right into the doctor’s office to see what’s going on, but I know I need to keep a low profile. Since I’m planning on kidnapping her from this place and taking her home with me, I can’t let it get back to her father that I was the one who did it, yet.

He’s going to know she’s missing at some point, but by the time he figures out who took her, she’s going to be my wife, and there won’t be anything he’ll be able to do about it. Especially, since it’s my child she’s carrying. The rules in our world dictate that women and children are off-limits.

I still can’t believe that asshole sent her away with my baby inside her. Granted, he probably doesn’t know it’s mine because the asshole never came knocking on my door.

About an hour has gone by before the two of them come waltzing out of the baby shop with a few bags in their hands. I see my girl stop and surreptitiously take in her surroundings as though she’s looking for someone. I wonder if she can feel my eyes on her, and that’s why she’s glancing around.

I also wonder if my girl knows that Isabella Messina is another Mafia princess like her. I’d have made my presence known already if I thought Isabella was a threat to her, but from what I can see, they’re friends.

That friendship is about to end soon because I’m here to take my girl and get her home where she belongs, and that’s right bymy side, where I can keep an eye on her. I’ve been without her for far too long already.

I make sure to follow their car back to the church and ensure she gets to her building safely before leaving for the hotel. Once I’m in my room, I use one of my burner phones to make the call.

“Hello?” he answers on the first ring. I’m so glad he still has this burner number.

“Hey, man, I just saw you earlier. I need to have a meeting with you,” I say into the phone.

“What? Enzo?” he questions.

“Yeah.”

“I thought that sounded like you, jackass,” my friend says.

“I’m in your neck of the woods and need to meet you. It’s urgent,” I tell him.

“Where are you?” he asks.

“The hotel downtown. Room 504,” I tell him so he can come straight to the room.

“Okay. I’ll be there in twenty minutes,” he replies before the line goes dead.

He’s right on time, because twenty minutes later, there’s a knock on the room’s door and one of my guys goes to open it. He strolls through the door like he owns the place, and I roll my eyes at him.

“Name?” I ask.

“Christian,” he replies. It’s a thing between us.

“Hey, man. Or should I call you Father now?” I question mockingly, since he’s dressed like a priest. I walk up to him to shake his hand and give him a bro hug.

“Hey, jackass. I haven’t seen you in ages, man! And if you want to,” he says with a smirk. “You going to confess all your deepest and darkest sins to me while you’re at it?”

“Fuck no!” I say with a laugh.

“I thought so. Anyway, what brings you here to my neck of the woods? How did you even know I was here? Nobody knows where I am… at least no one should.”

“Believe it or not, I wasn’t even looking for your dumbass. It was totally coincidental. I was here looking for my girl, and I saw her this afternoon while I was surveilling the convent.”

“Your girl? Since when do you have a girl?”
