“I have an IUD, and I trust you.” She knew deep down she trusted him, but she also didn’t want to prolong it. She needed this like she needed air.

He groaned. “Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

He eased himself inside her, and they both moaned. She dug her nails into his back and wrapped her legs around him, pulling him deeper.

“You feel so good,” she said.

“So do you.”

Together they moved until they both were breathing heavily. Megan arched her back and pulled him harder against her as he dropped his forehead into the crook of her neck.

“Megan, I’m going to come. Come with me.”

Her sex clenched around him, and she gasped as her body spasmed. “Oh my God.”

He drove into her harder and groaned with his release. He rolled onto the bed beside her as they caught their breath.

“Megan?”

“Hmm?” she asked, completely satisfied.

“Can we do that again before I leave town?”

She looked over at him with a smile blooming on her face. “We'd better.”

The next morning,Megan got up early for work. After spending the evening in Jeff’s arms, she didn’t want to leave her bed. But duty called.

On her way to her office, she called a familiar number.

“Hey! I heard Jeff came to see you,” Jessa said as soon as she answered the phone.

Megan smiled. “He did. And we had sex.”

“About time. How was it?”

“About time? We’ve barely seen each other since we started dating.”

“True,” Jessa said. “But it feels like it’s been forever.”

It felt like it had been a long time, and Megan was dreading Jeff leaving the next day. She couldn’t wait for the workday to end so she could spend the evening with him again.

“You’re telling me. It’s weird. I feel perfectly at ease with him. Even though we don’t know each other’s mannerisms that well since we haven’t seen each other in person much, we know each other personally. It’s just a different type of dating.”

“It’s almost better,” Jessa said. “You are getting all the conversations out of the way before seeing each other. It’s a good way to learn if you are even compatible.”

“We’re definitely compatible,” Megan said with a laugh.

“I’m assuming that was a sex joke, and I believe it.” Jessa giggled.

“I like him a lot,” Megan said softly.

“I know. I can see it.”

Megan let out a deep breath. “Can you help me find a place to live in Wintervale? Like maybe scope out some rentals for me?”

The scream that came through the speakers of her car nearly made Megan veer into oncoming traffic.
