“Yeah, yeah. Whatever.”
Lonnie and Cass laughed. Cass’s cell phone rang, and he answered the call as he left the room. Clint stared down at his own phone, still reading the comments from the video.
“Hey, they gave us nicknames,” Clint said.
“Oh, yeah?” Lonnie said.
Clint laughed. “I’ve been dubbed Strong Pecks.”
Lonnie snorted. “Seriously? What’s mine?”
“Chiseled Stud. Why is yours cooler than mine?”
“Just lucky, I guess. Did Amy get one?”
Clint scrolled before groaning. “Goddess of Men. Dear God, let’s not tell her that.”
“Tell me what?” Amy asked as she came into the room.
Clint blinked at her. “Do you just stand at the door and listen for your name so you can walk in at the perfect opportunity?”
“If you honestly think I have that big of a head to assume you’re all going to talk about me, you’re insane,” she said.
Lonnie’s phone pinged, and he looked down at it as Clint and Amy continued to go back and forth.
Liam: Do we have to call you Chiseled Stud from now on?
Theo: You have to admit, there’s a nice ring to it.
Ben: Miranda says it’s fitting.
Jake: Claire agrees. I think I have to agree as well.
Will: Forget about Chiseled Stud and Strong Pecks. Who is Goddess of Men?
Lonnie: She’s a badass.
Liam: Looks like Will has a crush. Maybe you should bring her on the next tour.
Will: I didn’t say I want her to be my girlfriend.
Liam: …
Theo: I think he meant to work as security detail.
Will: Yeah… of course. That’s what I meant.
Ben: Sure.
Jake: Mmm-hmm.
Lonnie looked up at where Clint and Amy were still going back and forth.
Lonnie: I kinda think she’s spoken for.
He stuffed his phone into his pocket and looked at the pair still arguing. Amy now had Clint in a headlock while he laughed loudly. Lonnie shook his head. There would never be a dull moment with those two around.
