Mallory stared at the stretchy garment and looked like she was going to argue. He cut her off before she could speak. “This will do perfectly, subbie, and will keep you from going naked in the Dungeon while I bind you.”

He watched her think about that alternative before she swallowed hard and nodded. “Yes, Sir.”

“Good bunny. Now, let’s go back to the room so you can change and I can get my ropes. Then we’ll go to the Dungeon for your next lesson in shibari.”

Chapter Eleven

Mallory was thankful her Rope Master allowed her to wear jeans with her new bodysuit down to the Dungeon. Otherwise she might have died of embarrassment within ten steps of leaving his room. And it was his room. Hers was on the second floor, just waiting for her to return to it.

Stepping off the elevator at the Dungeon’s main door, she dropped her gaze and half hid behind Fletcher as they approached Jaben standing behind the podium beside the door.

While Fletcher spoke to Jaben, a member of the Dungeon security team, Mallory stared at the big double doors that opened into the Dungeon, admiring them just as she had every time she came to work.

While the beautiful wooden double doors glowed, the circles of bright copper imbedded in the wood gave the impression of a chain. Caren had told her on her first night that the copper represented a St. Andrew’s cross. After seeing the real thing in the Dungeon, Mallory had to agree. The doors were a work of art all by themselves.

“Mallory? Sweetheart, are you okay?” Jaben asked, pulling her attention from the doors.

“Oh, yes, I’m fine. Good morning, Jaben,” Mallory said with a smile for the security guard.

“Just wanted to check because you don’t look too happy to be here,” the big guard stated.

“No, I’m fine. Just a little nervous. I’ve never been a rope bunny before,” she said honestly.

“All right, but if you need help, you just call out and one of the Dungeon Monitors will be there in a flash.”

“Yes, Sir,” Mallory said with a smile.

“Shall we?” Fletcher asked once Jaben gave him a nod of approval.

“Yes, Sir,” Mallory repeated.

Fletcher opened the door and allowed her to precede him. Once inside with the big doors closed, she stopped and wondered if she should give him a tour of the Dungeon before he started tying her up.

When he took her hand and led her directly to the bar, she decided maybe he knew his way around.

“Two bottles of water, please,” he requested from the bartender.

When they were placed on the bar in front of her, he released her hand. “Grab those, bunny.”

After picking up the two bottles, he settled a hand on the center of her back and guided her down the stairs from the lobby into the Dungeon proper. Walking from one side of the room to the other, he studied each station before steering her back to the St. Andrew’s cross in the center of the playroom floor.

Dropping his bag at the edge of the platform, he took the bottles of water from her and set them on the small rolling table.

“All right, bunny, take off your shoes and jeans. Then I want you to stand here and work on breathing deep and relaxing while I prepare,” he said, moving her to stand with her back to the cross.

Toeing out of her shoes next to his rope bag, she slipped off her jeans and folded them before laying them on top of her shoes. She then moved to stand in front of the large wooden X. Nerves made it difficult to breathe deep and relax, but she tried as she watched him unpack the medium-sized duffel bag he’d carried down from his room. He laid out a number of carefully wound bundles of rope in different colors before choosing three and returning the rest to the bag.

He then opened a side pocket of the bag and pulled out a pair of padded wrist cuffs. “Do you need to pee or anything else before we begin?”

Mallory shook her head before remembering he preferred verbal answers. “No, Sir.”

“What’s your safe word?”

“Pickles or red, Sir.”

He nodded with a slight smile. “Good bunny. Now, tell me how you’re feeling.”

Mallory thought a moment before answering. “A combination of nervous and excited, Sir.”
