"Take me," Vaelis chokes out, his hips twitching against mine in a desperate plea.

I oblige him.

I pull back, the drag of my roughened skin against his sensitive ridges sending sparks through my own nerves, then thrust deep. The water around us grows warmer with each connection, our bodies creating heat in the cold depths.

I establish a brutal, heavy rhythm.

With every powerful forward thrust, I use my voice.

The deep vibration travels through my driving hips directly into his core. I take him with heavy sound, claiming him with every sense.

"Louder," Vaelis demands, his voice wrecking in the water. He bucks against me, meeting my heavy thrusts with desperate force, seeking more of what only I can give him.

A grin splits my face in the dark. I bare my jagged teeth, feeling wild and possessive.

I pick up the pace, our bodies slick against each other. I fuck him with a fierce, possessive intensity. I hold his hips perfectly steady with my large hands, anchoring him safely to my storm. The contrast between his delicate frame and my strength sends a thrill through me.

I start to growl. The dark rumble builds in the back of my healed throat. The sheer pleasure of his tight heat pushes me closer and closer to the edge.

"Vaelis," I groan loud, the name torn from me.

Hearing his name spoken in my deep baritone completely undoes him. He wraps his arms tight around my neck. He buries his flushed face in my chest, tasting the salt on my skin.

"I’m here," he sobs, hot tears mixing with the ocean. "I’m staying right here."

His words shatter something in me. My driving rhythm falters. My powerful muscles lock tight.

"Mine," I roar into the fissure, the possessive claim bouncing off the stone walls.

I thrust incredibly deep. I bury myself to the absolute hilt. I climax with a deafening shout that shakes the rock walls around us, a declaration of ownership and devotion.

I pour hotly into him. A heavy, exhausted shudder runs through my solid frame. My muscles lock and tremble against his scales. Vaelis follows my lead, his core clenching tight around me, tipping over his own edge for a second time.

I hold him securely against the stone, small tremors wracking our bodies in the aftermath.

My breathing is ragged. Harsh, wet gasps tear at my throat as I struggle to regain control.

Slowly, the heavy tension drains out of my body.

I rest my warm head against his. I am incredibly heavy, pinning him against the rock with my weight.

"I love you," Vaelis whispers into the quiet, his voice raw and vulnerable.

I close my eyes.

The sea kept the Prince, and the Prince kept me.

"I love you," I rumble back, the words feeling both foreign and right on my tongue.

We stay tangled together in the dark fissure for a very long time. We do not rush. We let the cold ocean cycle around us, entirely content in the silence we chose.
