My heart pounds. “Are you really okay with that?”

His hands press against the sides of my face and he pecks my lips. “Perfectly okay.”

“I want to keep this low-key because of how important you are to me,” I admit. “Do you believe me when I say you’re worth it?”

He looks into my eyes, and tingles spread across my skin. “I do. No one can fake the kisses you give me.”

I giggle bashfully. “You like them?”

Milo tucks a piece of hair behind my ear and whispers, “I can’t get enough of them.”

He pushes against my lips and I rock myself forward, fully leaning into the kiss. This time, my tongue does the exploring. When watching movies, I always wondered if, in reality, using tongue would be gross. Contrarily, it’s exhilarating. It adds an extra layer of pressure and passion. I lock my arms around his neck, angling my head further. A moan tumbles out of me when his fingers run down the back of my t-shirt.

I trace a finger along the curve of his neck. His cologne wafts my way, making me dizzy in the most delicious way.

“Can I try something?” I whisper.

He nods.

My teeth graze my lip, and my stomach flips in anticipation. I wet my lips and lean in, angling my head so my mouth targets the nape of his neck. Visions of intimate moments from my favorite romantic movies flash through my mind. My lips suction to the taunt skin of his neck. I nibble and suck against the curve, making him shift his position and moan.

“Whoa,” he breathes, pressing a hand against the small of my back. “Where did you learn that?”

“I told you,” I whisper, breathlessly. I sneak in another kiss, just below his jawline. “I’m rom-com obsessed.”

“See, I told you you were good at taking notes,” he jokes mid-pant. He sits up against the wall and wiggles his eyebrows. “Can I try?”

I fan my face and then move my hair off my shoulders. “Sure.”

Milo locks onto my neck, sucking and kissing, sending pulses down and past my collarbone. I grip his upper arms as he hugs me tight. My head spins, and I’m glad he’s holding me. I’d surely have fallen backward and hit the floor from the waves of pleasure.

His kisses move up toward my ear. His breath is hot, and my hair buries his face. I run a hand along the back of his head, addicted to the closeness. His tongue traces my earlobe and I emit a surprised squeak. His laugh patters against my cheek, and I hurriedly turn my face to meet him in a kiss. I laugh with him as our lips brush. Tilting my head, I catch his mouth at the right moment, stealing another perfectly pressured kiss.

His hand digs into my hair, cups the back of my neck, and cradles me as he pulls away. His glasses fog up, but he smiles all the same. “I need to catch my breath.”

My hands run down his t-shirt, taking in every ripple underneath. “Me too, but I don’t want to stop.”

He laughs. “You’re a bad influence.”

I peel his glasses off his face. “You want to stop?”

He clicks his tongue and then leans forward to peck my lips. “Never.”

Itilt my head, and my nose crinkles, viewing his face without glasses. In my head, I know he’s just as handsome as ever, but something’s off. “You look strange.”

Air puffs out of him. “Excuse me?’

I hold his glasses higher. “Without these. I don’t like it. Are your eyes smaller?”

He smirks, taking the glasses. “There are magnifiers in my glasses.”

I shudder, sliding off his lap. “Well, keep your glasses on, okay? You look cuter when wearing them.”

He winces. “Do I look too much like Kai without them?”

“Eww. Maybe that’s what I didn’t like. Oh boy, please keep them on.”

He laughs, nudging me. “You’re the one who took them off.”
