“But—but I—” I wanted to be brave.
Obiora seemed to see the words on his face, because he softened as he said, “Taking your time with your sexuality doesn’t make you afraid or a coward or an imposter or whatever. And neither does it mean your feelings for me aren’t real.”
Ejiro swallowed with difficulty. Then he nodded. “Okay.” Then, a little shyly, unable to meet Obiora’s eyes—“Will you wait for me?”
Obiora’s breath caught in his throat. “Yes,” he said fervently. “Yes, baby. Of course I will. I’ll wait for you.”
“Kiss me,” Ejiro pleaded, and had barely finished the sentence when Obiora’s mouth was covering his.
Ejiro moaned, a sound of pure carnal lust—a sound of such quivering need it made him feel slightly ashamed, before the sound of Obiora echoing his desire with his own agonised groan blew Ejiro’s self-consciousness away.
Obiora immediately slid his tongue between Ejiro’s slightly parted lips, thrusting it hungrily into his mouth, like he’d been positively dying to taste him again. Ejiro eagerly opened up for him, trembling when Obiora’s tongue slid along the sensitive roof of his mouth, exploring, making Ejiro shake. He pulled his tongue out so he could nip at the fleshy part of Ejiro’s lower lip with his teeth, then sucked the flesh into his mouth. Ejiro groaned, reduced to putty.
Obiora kissed him like it was the first and the last thing he’d ever do, taking apart Ejiro’s mouth with a deft skill that had Ejiro shaking, his toes curling in his socks.
Obiora eventually pulled away reluctantly, and Ejiro whined in need and distress.
“No,” he said, pouting, managing to capture Obiora’s lips in another kiss.
Obiora laughed into his mouth, kissing him again before pulling away. “I know, baby. But I have to go. Ameri is waiting for me.”
Ejiro began to tremble again. He didn’t want Obiora to leave, not without him, but he knew why they couldn’t leave together, and it hurt.
“Can I?” Obiora nodded in the direction of Ejiro’s sketchbook, which was lying between them.
Ejiro nodded, though he wasn’t sure what Obiora wanted.
Obiora flipped the book onto a new page. Ejiro’s heart began to race for a different reason when he saw what Obiora was writing. He handed the sketchbook back to Ejiro, and Ejiro’s eyes immediately tried to devour the eleven digits that made up Obiora’s phone number.
Obiora cupped his cheek, tilting his face up. He was blushing again.
“Call me?”
Ejiro kissed him hard in answer.
“The second I get out of here,” he said breathlessly when the kiss broke. “I promise.”
“All right.” Obiora kissed him again. “Okay.” Another kiss. Another. Ejiro was melting into the bench. Obiora licked and sucked at his lips, moulding their lips together like a man starved.
“Fuck. Okay,” Obiora said for the final time, pulling away and standing abruptly. “Okay.”
Ejiro stood, too. “You’ll wait for me?” he couldn’t help but confirm, a little desperately.
Obiora looked so, so soft. “Yes, baby. Forever if I have to.” He winked.
Ejiro managed a small laugh, cheeks flushing at the flirtation. “It won’t be that long. I promise.”
They stood, staring at each other for a moment, before they were kissing again, frantically, arms wrapped tightly around each other, their bodies pressed so close it hurt.
And Ejiro decided he had to leave the competition this week, no matter what it took.

Damien has always wanted to go on a long road trip with his significant other, so he and Sophia get into a car and explore the scenic beach towns of Norfolk, falling in love with the sights, and also seemingly with each other.
