He laid his head in the crook of my neck, but didn’t stop fucking me. His hips never lost force or speed, but he held me, and I held him back. The two of us joined how we were supposed to be. It was perfect and beautiful, and right.

When he lifted his face to mine, he said, “I love you so much, Finn.”

He spoke with his eyes more than his lips. Apology and promise, declaration and clarity, permanent and chosen.

“I love you, too, Ryder.”

His pace picked up as he kissed me again. Soon, he whispered into my mouth, “I’m close, babe.”

“Come in me, baby. Fill me up. Please.”

A moment later, “I’m gonna come.” Then he groaned and went still. His cock pulsed and twitched deep inside me, filling me with himself, the warmth spreading in my stomach. I was brimming with him and his love. Two things I could never go without again.

When he was done, he let his full weight rest on me. I rubbed his back and played with his hair. A minute later, he moved, and I reached between us to finish myself off. But he took my wrist and moved my hand away.

I looked at him, and he said, “No. Let’s try a redo in the shower, but you fuck your load into me.”

“Yeah?” I said, still hung in the bliss of being with him, but excited to fuck him again.

“Absolutely. Boyfriends fuck each other, right?”

“Absolutely.”

Once in the shower, with the hot water cascading down our bodies, I entered Ryder for the second time ever. He groaned and took me to the hilt. It didn’t take me long, and I didn't have to fuck him hard or fast.

When I was close, I turned his chin over his shoulder and said, “I love you, boyfriend.”

“I love you, too.”

I kissed him, gripped his hip with my other hand, and fucked him until I came. He braced against the wall, and I bracedagainst him as I recovered. We washed each other from head to toe once we were ready.

When the water ran cold, he said, “C’mon, we’re already late. You don’t want to miss the zombie wedding, do you?”

“Never in a million years.” He kissed me, and we got out, holding hands and each other.

Chapter Twenty Nine

Ryder

My mom wasn't a huge drinker, but could put away half a bottle of Chardonnay, or more, if the occasion called for it. My brother’s zombie wedding was, apparently, just such an occasion.

“RYDER! Oh my goodness!” My mother hugged me so tightly I couldn’t see the venue my parents had paid for until she let me go.

It was stunning. Miles was right. She may be a malignant narcissist, but Bree had good taste.

“You scared us half to death!” my mom said.

My dad was behind her and pulled me into a hug before I could respond. “Don’t do that again.”

“I won’t. Promise.”

Finn had been standing beside me. My dad hugged him, too. “C’mere, Finn!”

And when he was done with him, my mom had a shot, too. “I can’t tell you how happy I am to see you two together,” she said, a palm on each of our faces. It was then that I realized how much chard she must’ve already had.

“Uh, yeah,” I said, pulling my boyfriend away from them. “Let us grab a drink, then we can chat.”

“Okay, hon.” She gave us one last smile.
