[Grace added your contact Johnson Samuels]

JOHNSON: Best fucking news Rawley! So excited to play together.

RAWLEY: Thanks everyone!

CONNOR: We need to talk about boundaries with this chat.

LANDON: Fuck that, it’s the Better Together chat, and I say Rori and Johnson make us better

CONNOR: Fair, fair. I will agree with that logic.

LANDON: So go ahead and add Avery at this point, Rawley.

RAWLEY: I’m good

GRACE: They haven’t been dating that long anyway, give it another couple months, Landon

RAWLEY: Gracie, don’t start

RORI: This chat is fun

ORLANDO DAILY NEWS

Rawley Battle Wows the Waves

By Adrian Miller

(July 9) Happy news is emerging for Orlando Waves fans as we inch closer to training camp. According to internal team sources, Rawley Battle is ahead of where they expected at this point.

“We’ve been very pleased with everything we’ve seen from Rawley. He’s brought his A game to every practice so far, including the optional ones, and worked on the playbook extensively outside of official team time,” offensive coordinator Marshall Olson said.

According to Olson, Battle will practice on the first team and is expected to be a starter, though Olson reports he may play with the second team too during preseason games, to increase his experience.

“He’s still a rookie, so everyone should be patient as he adjusts to the pro game,” Olson noted. “We drafted him for a reason though, and he’s delivered exactly as we hoped so far.”

The Waves’ first preseason game will be August 6 at home against New Jersey.

AVERY: Can’t wait to see you later!

RAWLEY: Me too :)

She’s back from her five-day road trip, having arrived in the wee hours overnight, and we’re going to dinner later. Then I’m supposed to go to her game tomorrow before training camp starts a couple days later.

Our texting had returned to normal for the rest of her days away too. Seems like we’ve moved past the awkward moment from Aiden’s suggestion that we end things, thank fuck.

In the meantime, it’s close to when Connor flies back to Princeton, so it’s been nice to have these final days focused on him.

Though he’s still acting like a man of mystery, disappearing randomly. I’m tired of waiting for him to tell me what the heck is going on.

So, this morning, when he walks into the kitchen after a session in our home gym, I lay down the law. Or my version of it.

“I made you a killer omelet, but you’re only getting it if you stop hiding where you vanish in the mornings.”
