AVERY:
AVERY: The week after, there’s the Orlando Music Festival appearance that Taylor wants us to make. That still work too?
RAWLEY: Yeah. The concert should be a good time.
AVERY: Nice. Two dates planned. Look at us go.

All the sports buzz with your hosts Pierce and Mike!
Topics this week: our picks for the MLB playoffs, is Rawley Battle too comfortable in Orlando?, and our special guest, last season’s NBA rookie of the year, Carlos Leone, joins us to talk about the upcoming season.
[Minute 9:25]
Pierce: Let’s move on to our next topic, the one we can’t seem to quit.
Mike: Hah, I know where you’re going with this.
Pierce: Rawley Battle.
Mike: Andddddd I was right.
Pierce: So we had an episode a few weeks back about his—let’s say ‘excursion’—to an Orlando night club with Avery Parker, who of course proved to be his girlfriend, as the world knows now.
Mike: That they do.
Pierce: And we questioned at that time whether that was the best place for him to be, given his “alleged” history…
Mike: “Alleged.”
Pierce: I will say we did get pushback from many of you Buzzers listening, as well as a spokesman for Rawley, insisting he was there with a big group, reportedly barely consumed anything, etc. So, fair. Don’t want to make assumptions…
Mike: Sure. We call them as we see them, but ultimately we’re just two idiots with a podcast.
Pierce: Exactly.
Mike: And a million subscribers, but who’s counting.
Pierce: [laughing] Precisely.
Pierce: Anyway, this kid. Well, let me say, he’s a man now, he’s in the NFL…thisman, he’s apparently a choir boy right now according to his people. But let’s check off the list—superstargirlfriend, on the same team as his older brother, and catching passes from his sister’s boyfriend.
Mike: And sponsors are lining up to sign him, with this crescendo of fame.
Pierce: That’s a big word, Mike.
Mike: Sorry, sorry.
Pierce: We don’t use those around here.
Pierce: But yeah, the question is, will Rawley Battle be too comfortable in Orlando to stay focused?
Mike: He’s got it made already.
Pierce: Girl, money, family. Shouldn’t Head Coach Houston have a 24-7 watch on the guy to make sure that first-round draft pick doesn’t blow up?
Pierce: I see some of the Buzzers commenting that I’m being too harsh, but look, we’re here to ask the tough questions.
