“I know. She likes it,” Jennifer said and closed her eyes. “I shouldn’t have told you that.”
“I already knew.”
“What? She told you?”
“No.” Nia shook her head. “Good guess.”
“You have superpowers, don’t you?”
“No.” Nia laughed. “I’ve been doing this for a while.”
“Right. Well, I should get back out there.” She nodded toward the door. “Um… Can you maybe sit back down right where you were and occasionally look up at us?”
“What?”
“She wanted you to see us.”
“Oh,” Nia said. “Just look up whenever?”
“And maybe tell her you watched us later.”
“Tell her?”
“Yeah, that it was, I don’t know, sexy or something.”
“Sure. I’ll ask her to pass the rolls at dinner and tell her that the sex I watched you two have was sexy. Is that good?”
“Yup. Great. I don’t want her to change her mind, so…”
Nia laughed and replied, “Assume your positions, I suppose.”
“Nia?”
“Yes?”
“Thank you.”
“What for?”
“You know what for,” Jennifer said, nodded at her, and headed back outside.

“Are we in trouble?”
“No, she doesn’t care. Give me a minute to put this on, and you can go back where you were,” Jennifer replied.
Kristina laughed and said, “You arereallyinto this, aren’t you?”
“Making love with you? Yes, Kris. I am absolutely into making love with you and letting you explore whatever it is you want to explore with me.”
“Kris, huh?” she asked.
“Either that or Tina.”
“I like Kris better, for future reference, but ‘babe’ and ‘baby’ are both okay, too.”
