“Right?” Jennifer guessed and kissed her quickly on the lips. “I feel that way, too.”
“How did she know?”
“Who?”
“Nia.”
“Oh, I have no idea. I asked if she had superpowers. She said no.”
“But would she tell you if she did?”
“Probably not.” Jennifer laughed.
“I feel bad. We’re not exactly doing what she asked us to do.”
“You want to do the music thing?”
“I think we should. I know you don’t really want to keep following the rules, but she brought you to me, Jen.”
“Do we owe her our firstborn now?”
Kristina laughed and replied, “No, I don’t think so. But Nia’s a pretty name, don’t you think?”
“It is, yeah.” Jennifer kissed her between her breasts. “Come on. Let’s grab us towels from… somewhere and get dressed. Then, we can listen to music, and I promise to keep my hands to myself.”
“Oh, no. I don’t like that. Just hold me how you did last night.”
“Pressed back into me?”
“I loved that,” Kristina shared.
“So did I, babe.” Jennifer smiled up at her. “Maybe another minute in this pool, though. You’re naked, and your skin is all wet and glistening. Plus, I get to hold you up like this.”
“One more minute,” she agreed. “Then, we play music for each other and talk about our feelings, Jen.”
Jennifer laughed and said, “Yes, dear.”
“That was not on the list of names I gave you before,” she replied with a little laugh.
Jennifer smacked her playfully on the ass and said, “Yes, honey?”
“Nope. Try again.”
“Yes, mistress?”
Kristina laughed harder and told her, “Not even close.”
Jennifer kissed her neck and said, “Babe, I am just so very crazy about you.”
Kristina sobered, swallowed, and replied, “Me too.”
