“I’ve got a few meetings on my calendar I’m thinking of ignoring.”
I raised a brow. “Very professional of you.” He chuckled. “I’m already ahead of schedule. I can afford a few stolen hours.” I took a sip of wine, watching him over the rim of my glass. “Stolen hours, huh?” He didn’t answer, just leaned over and kissed me, slow and deep, like he was imprinting the taste of me on his memory.
After a few minutes, I stretched and slid off the bed. “I’m going to take a quick shower.” He sat up, his gaze tracking me as I walked toward the bathroom.
“Mind if I join?” I paused at the doorway, turned slightly, and gave him a small, teasing smile. “Only if you promise me shower sex.”
The steam filled the shower quickly. The second I stepped under the water, he was behind me, hands on my hips, lips at my shoulder, he was already hard again. “You’re driving me insane,” he muttered against my skin.
“Good,” I whispered, pressing back into him.
He didn’t waste time. He spun me around, liftedme easily against the wall, and took me again with a force that made the water pressure irrelevant. This time, there was no teasing. No gentle build. Just raw, hungry need.
He fucked me like he owned me.
The slap of wet skin, the steam fogging the glass, the way his hands gripped my ass as I wrapped my legs around him and bit down on his shoulder to muffle my moans. It was chaos, and I loved every second of it.
When I came, it was explosive. His name on my lips. My nails are dragging down his back. He followed right after, groaning into my neck, pressing deep one last time. We stayed like that for a moment, under the spray, our bodies still pressed together, hearts hammering. Eventually, I stepped out, wrapped myself in a towel, and began to gather my things.
“I’m not staying by the way,” I said gently, slipping back into my clothes. “I texted Rose that I’d come back.”
Theo sat on the edge of the bed, towel around his waist, watching me like I was slipping through his fingers. “You could text her again. Say you got caught up in something… important.”
I laughed softly, zipping up my dress. “Hmm, tempting.”
He stood and came to me, hands resting lightly on my waist. “Stay. Please. Just… stay.”
His voice was cocky and demanding, but in a soft way that made me ache, and wet at the same time. Ilooked up at him, eyes searching his. “Fine. I’ll stay, on two conditions.”
“Give them to me,” He grinned.
“You make me come again, and you don’t snore.” That made him laugh. “The first one, I promise, the second, I’ll risk it.”
I took off my dress and crawled back into bed with him, tangled up once more, this time under the covers, his arm slung over my waist, our breathing syncing as sleep found us.
CHAPTER TEN
theo
We clearly forgotto close the curtains last night.
Because the morning sunshine slipped right through the windows.
I shifted in bed, and I could feel her warmth near me. She was lying on her side, her hair a mess against my pillow, one leg tossed over the sheet like she owned the bed. The curve of her back, the slow rise and fall of her breath, it was unfair how beautiful she looked doing absolutely nothing.
“Are you staring at me?” she murmured without opening her eyes. I smiled. “Maybe.” She stretched like a cat. Her arms over her head, her legs stretching to opposite sides. “I slept like a baby. It was a really good sleep.”
“It was the best night of sleep I’ve had in months. So, thank you.” I admitted. She rolled toward me, resting her chin on my chest. “That’s cute, 1A. But, I gotta run if I want a full Parisian breakfast before I’mback in the air tonight.” I brushed her hair back from her face.
“What time are you flying?”
“Late. It’s an overnight flight again. But check-in is in a few hours, and I have to meet Rose before she shops her entire suitcase weight limit.” I laughed. “Sounds serious.”
“You’ve never seen her around a European Zara. It is serious.” She yawned and pushed herself up, grabbing her clothes and slipping them on with ease that made it somehow sexier. I leaned back against the headboard, watching her move. “Are you going to ghost me now? Because I don’t have any information on you, but you can easily find all of mine.”
She looked over her shoulder, raising an eyebrow. “Well, that’s true. But, you’re not exactly ghostable, 1A.”
I tilted my head. “So, what happens now?”
