“But you have those days where we don’t talk, and you go to Memphis, and you disappear, and I don’t be knowing what you’re doing.”

“My baby…” He grabbed my hand again. “I got some adjustin’ to do, I’ll admit. I ain’t been a free man dat long, so I be handlin’ my business and tryna straighten out my affairs and shit. But on all da days dat I’m gone, don’t I make sure you straight?”

He rubbed his thumb over my ring finger, Memphis accent just as heavy as his dick. A ring that my followers hadn’t let me forget about the whole time we were on live. I didn’t confirm or deny anything. Tunan was trying to establish the very thing I’d been avoiding: clarity.

“Glow?”

“Hmm?” Snapping from my thoughts, the lights inside the vehicle adjusted to a soft glow as the sun began to set.

“Don’t I make sure you straight?”

“You do,” I replied with no hesitation.

“Aite, den. So we doing dis?”

He made a right turn, pulling into the mall. Since it was a weekend, the lot was full. Bypassing the empty spots, he parked in a handicap spot that was only steps away from the entrance.

“But why are we at the mall, Tunan?”

He shifted the car into park. “I wanna get a ring. I can’t be walkin’ ‘round, makin’ bitches think I’m single.” He winked.

“You shoulda been did that.”

“Mmcht. Can you walk in da mall in ’em? Or I gotta carry yo’ pretty ass?”

“Look at dis dress, Tunan. It’s too much to be walkin’ through the mall.”

“Da jewelry sto’ right past da food court. Dat’s why I parked back here.”

“This dresssss?—”

“Look good as fuck, my baby. Ion give a fuck ’bout a muthafucka lookin’. I want ’em to look. I’m da only one touchin’ so let ’em lust, my baby.”

He hopped out, came around my side, and pulled me out as soon as the door let up. Tunan wrapped his arm around my waist and squeezed my ass like we weren’t in a parking lot full of kids, families, and security. We looked out of place, but somehow, I felt right in place.

“If you keep lettin’ me fuck you like dat, Glow, it ain’t shit you won’t be able to get from me, my baby.”

“I thought I could get whatever already?”

He slapped my ass and grabbed my hand, leading us in the direction of the mall while the doors let down automatically. That car was just as sexy as he was.

“You can.”

As we stepped through the double doors, I pulled my dress down over my backside because it seemed to ride up every few steps. My pumps clacked on the tiled floor as the scent of pretzels, fried foods, and cleaning supplies filled the air. Before we could reach the food court, we were in the kiddie section, where there was a carousel and a few more attractions, but it was practically empty on this side.

Just as we reached the carousel, Tunan pulled me into it, sitting down on it and bringing me onto his lap.

“Tunan!” I tried removing his hands from my waist while looking around.

There was also a movie theater back here, but it seemed vacant, even though the marquee was lit up. It would be my luck that a movie would end, and we would be bombarded with a group of people headed home. Shifting my eyes from the marquee, I stared into Tunan’s fine-ass face.

“You ever fucked in da mall, Glow?” He began humping me from the bottom as I tried to get up, but my laughter didn’t have me operating at my full strength.

“Ummm, hell no! And we not about to start. Tunan we have to goooo. You already got me in here looking like a slut.”

“Yeap.” He kissed the back of my neck. “My wet pussy, bossed up, pretty-ass slut.”

“Tuuuune.”
