Her heart was thundering, weakening her knees. She fell against his chest. Together, he walked them to the couch.
The cushions were soft against her back as she gripped the neckline of Auren’s shirt and pulled him atop her.
"Say you love me again?" This time, her voice was tremulous.
"I love you. To the end of this Earth—and always thereafter."
Rin kissed him desperately. "I love you," she said against his lips, hoping the words would find their way into his lungs.
As they kissed, he learned. He was a fast learner.
He pressed her back fully until she was lying down, her thighs spreading to cradle his hips as he settled between them. She felt his arousal, insistent at her core, barely covered by her displaced shorts and thin, soaked panties.
She arched up into him. "I want you, Auren."
"I am not like others, Vesperin. You will be my first. My only. I do not know how to make you feel as you deserve."
"You already have. With every word you’ve said, you’ve made me feel so"—she leaned up and kissed him—"good."
His entire body shuddered above her. It made her feel… powerful.
Rin stared up at Auren, seeing something in his eyes. Something dark and untouched and depraved. He was angry like she was. She saw it in the curl of his lips, felt it in the heat of his touch. It was as though his eyes begged her to understand, begged her for a taste of any pleasure she could offer.
She began to feel in over her head. She didn’t know how to do this, but neither did he.
Staring deeply into his eyes, she whispered, "Beg."
"What?" he murmured.
"Beg me to let you have me. You want me to, don’t you? You want to beg. You need tofeel."
Her cheeks began to warm in shame. What if she’d misread him? If she tried this with Lucien—or Rhyden—he’d bend her over his knee. Cyrus, however, might like this new side of her.
Achingly slow, Auren nodded. He shifted up her shirt until he gripped her bare skin, fingers indenting her waist. "I do want that, Vesperin."
She swallowed. "Then beg me."
A look of exquisite pain crossed his face. "Please, Vesperin. Allow me to taste you."
"Oh," she breathed, struggling for air in an endless ocean, waves surging, threatening to drown her.
He wanted to…
"Please, let me have a taste."
She felt his sinful words on her lips. "Okay."
Auren slowly traced down the line of her body. Kissing her breasts tenderly, touching them reverently. When his lips were at her stomach, he gently rolled up her thin sleep shirt and looked up at her, blonde hair hanging in his face and Star glowing softly. He looked like an angel.
Yet he grinned like a devil.
He smirked up at her lazily, pressed his lips to her belly, and kissed her so sweetly. She shuddered. He sensed she liked it, so he did it again, drawing a soft sigh from her lips.
She lost herself in the feel of his hands gently keeping her thighs apart, even when she wanted to close her legs as he slowly moved further down her body. Until his mouth was right at her core and the only thing separating them was fabric and she felt lightheaded and her heart pounded and?—
Auren pressed a kiss to her cloth-covered center.
Rin’s head fell back against the couch. "Oh god."
