First off, I can’t make it home for the big holiday. I’m so sorry I have to miss meeting you in person. This case is killing me!
But, Scrabble…
You are not prepared for how seriously we take this.
This is not a normal Scrabble game. Dad custom made the magnetic board himself and it hangs on the wall in the dining room. We all play from a single slate of tiles at time. So we don’t take turns. If you see a word that works, you put it up. The trick is, you can’t play if there’s anyone else in the room. So you have to sneak away from the family to score.
