Oak clears his throat. “And what are your boundaries?”
I lift a shoulder. “No pictures. No consensual non-consent bullshit.” I stick out my tongue. “And I’m pretty sure I don’t want cum in my eyes.”
Oakley looks at me intently. I’m used to all kinds of stares. People can see that something is off about me, even if they don’t know exactly what. This isn’t that.
“Do you need to be dominated?” he asks carefully.
“In life? Fuck no.” I laugh thinking about it. “In bed? I’m pretty sure it would be helpful.”
“Pretty sure?”
“Yeah. I mean…Erik always says, ‘You can’t know what you don’t know.’ So I’ll hafta have sex before I know.”
Oakley takes a deep breath and lets it out slow. “You’ve never had sex?”
I shake my head. “Sartre was right. Hellisother people. Mostly. Not you though.”
Oakley sits with this for a moment.
“Does that shock you? That I haven’t had sex yet?” I smile. “Or that I want to have sex with you?”
His eyes track from my lips, down my neck, to my hands, and back up to my eyes. “I can tell you are attracted to me, though the fact that you haven’t had sex is a little shocking.”
“Why?”
“You are, not to put too fine a point on it, sex on a stick.”
“Sex on a stick would not be pleasant.”
He chuckles. “That is true. But…it seems you’re well-read on the subject.”
I nod. “I’m interested in it as a subject. Kink too. Though you don’t have to have sex to have kink.”
“Have you engaged in nonsexual kink with anyone?”
I shake my head.
His eyes fall to my lips. “Oh, right. Trust.”
“Exactly.” I run my tongue along my lower lip. “That’s why I mostly engage in self-pleasure. With a big dildo.”
His eyes find mine and his lips look like they want to smile.
“I take it that means you would like to try bottoming?”
I bounce on my toes. “Yes, please.”
There it is. Oakley’s smile. Amused but not judgmental. “With me?”
“Only with you.”
“Even though that means we’ll hafta tell Hedy? And that she may not let me work with you anymore?” He grimaces. “Or, more likely, that she may let me work with you even if she shouldn’t?”
“Are you forgetting Hedy’s motto?” I smile.
Oakley rolls his eyes. “This isn’t a legal operation, and ethics are a lot less concrete.”
“Exactly.”
