He looked up at Josh with his hands held out as if toask What did I say?

“Kylie,” Patrick spoke. I couldn’t look at him. He had really fired me. It didn’t mean Patrick was sending me away, but I was still disappointed.

“We are going to have your employment transferred to the GrantFoundation,” Patrick continued.

“That way it offers some separation between you and me, but we’d still like you to contract with security on an as-needed basis.” Patrick reached out his hand. I took it.

“Not so much a bodyguard, but a companion to the girls,” Josh said.

“Who can also carry a gun,” Tyler added.

“Josh is going to become the head of the foundation.” Kyler looked at Patrick. “So, you will essentially work for him.” He shrugged. “The foundation is based in New York.”

“But where would I work?” I turned to Josh.

“You don’t have to move back to New York, but we may require you to be there from time to time.” Josh stood up. “As far as your residence is concerned, I’ll let your daddy decide that.”

I knew my cheeks were a deep shade of red.

“Kylie, why don’t you get settled with this news and let me know if you are good with it by this afternoon.” He looked at his phone. “I’m free at two pm if that works for you.”

I looked at Patrick. He nodded, not in agiving permissionway, but in athis is a good thingkind of way. I relaxed a bit. “Two is fine.”

“Great.” He waved and shuffled out the door. The rest of the team followed. Tyler and Randall stayed behind for a minute. “Welcome to the team.” Tyler pushed his floppy hair out of his face, and he reached down and hugged me. When he was done, he patted me on the head and skipped out the door.

“Let me know when you have some time,” Randall said. “I want to talk to you about some tech stuff.” He nodded to Patrick. “Stuff he wouldn’t understand. I’ll call you.”

“Nice to meet you, Randall,” I said.

“You too, kid.”

He left and shut the door behind him.

“I’m not sure what just happened.” I flopped into the chair and put my head in my hands.

“Nothing will change for you.” Patrick stood and walked around his desk. I peeked up and watched as he smoothed his button-down blue and white striped shirt. It picked up the blue in his eyes. His sleeves rolled up to mid-forearm, offering my favorite office-appropriate arm candy. “It sucks for me.”

I blinked. “Why?”

“I only get to boss you around at home.” He knelt beside me. “No longer at work. Well, not about work anyway.”

“Yeah, it sucks for you.” I smirked. I wrapped my arms around Patrick’s neck, and he held me to him.

“We will still collaborate, but I think it will be a good thing for you. Give you a little separation between big Kylie and little Kylie. Unless you want to be little all the time.”

I had thought about it since being here. Seeing Rayna and Tinley embrace their little gave me immense joy, though I knew it wasn’t the path for me, at least not yet.

“No. I think I enjoy having the two sides of me.” I leaned back and looked into his eyes. “Daddy, you’ll just have to practice helping me switch from big to little.”

“And how do we go about practicing?” He ran his knuckles down my cheek. It sent a shiver through my body.

“Well,” I laid my head on his shoulder. He rubbed my back. “Now I feel very little.” But then I stuck my tongue out and licked Patrick's skin, nibbling on the spot where his neck and shoulders met.

“And now?” He tilted his head while his hands moved around to cup my breasts.

“Not so little.”

He stood and lifted me in his arms. I wrapped my legs around his waist. “See, now really little, Daddy.”
