“Hi,” I breathe out as he presses his body against mine, pulling me against him. He threads a hand through my hair as the other presses against my back.
“Hi, Baby. I missed you,” he says before pressing his lips to mine. I think it’s going to be quick, but as his tongue finds mine, I get lost in the kiss. “Yes, what are we doing?” I ask as he lifts me down and takes my hand, leading me away from the fair.
“Keep in mind I’m not as good at this date planning stuff as Ryker. I couldn’t think of something fun for us to do together, so I was hoping you’d be okay just spending some time alone, somewhere a little special?”
“Of course! I don’t need anything besidesyou, Brax. In fact, after the past few hours, this will be a nice break from all the commotion. I like doing active fun things but I also like down time too, does that make sense?”
“Yes, I think it’s part of what makes you perfect for us.” He guides me silently down the street and into the forest. We walk along a well-trodden path for about ten minutes before I gasp at what I see.
“It’s gorgeous!” I say, looking around in awe at the pond with a small six-foot waterfall falling into it.
“I thought we could go for a swim together, if you want?” Brax asks, rubbing the back of his neck. Was he nervous? Oh my word, that was adorable.
“Of course, it sounds amazing, is the water warm?”
“I’m not sure,” he mutters as we step closer.
“I guess we’ll find out soon enough,” I say, turning to face him. “Well?” I ask.
“Well, what?”
“Well, Mr. fiancé, are you going to undress me, or do I have to do it myself?” I see the heat enter his eyes before he grins, stepping up to me. He undoes the string that tightens the dress across my torso before bending down and lifting the entire thing over my head.
He stares at my body before his eyes flick to mine in surprise. “Baby… where are your undergarments?”
“What? It’s not my fault nobody gave me any.” I shrug, biting my lip.
“You’ve been walking around all day with nothing under your dress?” His hands move to run up and down my sides, and I shiver in anticipation. I always love the feeling of his big hands and big body against mine. He makes me feel dainty.
I nod, swallowing the lump in my throat. “You’re still wearing your clothes,” I whisper. He steps back and starts stripping off as fast as he can. I take the opportunity to run into the water, hoping to cool myself off. The water is pleasant, just like the air temperature here. Not hot, but not cold either. I walk to where the water gets a bit deeper and start paddling when I can no longer touch, heading towards the waterfall.
Before I make it, strong hands grab me by the hips and I’m pulled backwards until my back is against Brax’s front, making mesqueal. His arms wrap around me and he kisses my neck.
“Where do you think you’re going, Baby Girl?” he whispers.
“To the waterfall.” I point towards it then his teeth graze my neck, making me moan. It reminds me of yesterday when he did that in front of the other three. I grow wetter and thank the lord for being in water right now.
