Hunter clearedher throat as she folded her arms across her chest. “Did you deal with Henry?”

“Surprised you didn’t see the news about his house exploding in a gas fire.”

“The news is depressing. Besides, you were there.”

“I did what I needed to do, and they both perished. Nothing interesting to share.”

Hunter groaned. “You never tell me all the juicy details.”

“I’m going to visit the clubhouse and talk to Hawke. We’ll have some Reapers to patrol heavily for the next few days. I don’t need anyone getting any bright ideas. Handle the club tonight. If you have a problem, call me.” I emphasized the last two words because I knew this woman better than she fucking did.

“I can always shoot the problem.”

“No. Behave and don’t go all trigger happy tonight.”

CHAPTER 6

BLAIZE

The clubhouse was rugged and alluring, decorated with weathered wooden beams and metal accents, its story painted in the worn bricks. A large hand-painted sign hung above the entrance withHell’s Reaper’spainted in dark, distressed lettering with a woman’s face on one side and a skull and crossbow on the other. I glanced at the bikes parked haphazardly in the road, looking for the black Harley-Davidson Dyna.

Satisfied with finding Hawke’s bike in the sea of motorcycles, I kicked the door open, nodding at Cross before walking to the main room. The clubhouse smelled like booze, sex, and gasoline. An odd combination that ignited my soul and left a comforting feeling behind. It was a peculiar blend of scents, but in my line of work, it’s not the strangest smell I enjoy.

There was rock music lingering into the main portion of the clubhouse from Hawke’s office, and if I could hear it down here, I knew Hawke’s eardrums were shattered. I caught my road captain scurrying out of the kitchen. Sin had strawberries and a can of whipped cream in his hands, so I already knew he and Ranger were about to have a busy night with their girl.

“Sin,” I called out before he got out of range, “where’s Hawke?”

He cocked his brow. “You don’t hear his music blastin’ his eardrum out? I’m pretty sure he and Fallon are buck wild in his office.”

“Have fun,” I told him.

I opened Hawke’s door, and to my surprise, he and Fallon weren’t fucking like rabbits. At one point they were, or maybe they just finished. Fallon looked at me with a wicked grin. “Ohh, babe, pull your dick out so Blaize can watch us.”

I rolled my eyes, looking at Hawke. “Clean up. Shower. Do whatever you need. I need to talk to you, Hawke.”

Fallon grabbed Hawke’s hand and pulled him out of the room as I took his chair. I swore Hawke never took a break when it came to his wife. He kept focus when it mattered; it was why he was my VP.

Hawke was the first person I met in this town when we decided to move here. He was nothing more than a lackey for the Vandals when Elijah was in command. Back then it was less of a motorcycle club and more of an illegal sex ring. Hawke was the muscle, but refused to partake in the disgusting acts the other men did. Except, Elijah controlled everyone in this town and made sure no one would give Hawke the time of day, so he was stuck there. He admitted he wanted the downfall to happen since many innocent men, women, and children were hurt by that sick son of a bitch.

It took effort, but I finally toppled his reign of power. Elijah didn’t take it well—his fragile masculinity flared up, and he retaliated. But it was just a battle, not a war. He didn’t break me, and he didn’t seize control. Elijah failed to realize he had a lot of enemies inside his defenses.

I owned a hotel here in Westhaven where my girls and some men choose to have sex for money. It wasn’t a brothel or awhorehouse, as some people like to call it. It was a business. The people that chose to work there were willing, and everything done was consensually. Anyone in any of my businesses were there of their own free will. They choose to strip, to sleep with men, women, or couples, and they choose to have their darkest fantasies come true. Sex sells, and I had some of the hottest people willing to use their bodies for their own pleasure.

If anyone had a problem with how they chose to live their lives, I dealt with them. I’d never let anyone, especially a man, judge my girls for loving sex or using their bodies however they wanted. Women could enjoy sex without feeling guilt, just like men could stick their penis into anything without shame.

Sex was beautiful, and if used correctly, it was the key to life.

Men would go feral for a taste of a woman’s sweet essence, and with that, we could bend them to our wills. Unfortunately, some men decided to take it by force. The men in my territory and surrounding area knew what would happen if they partook in sex trade or if they harmed women. No one should ever be forced into something they didn’t want. I had to save too many women and children from Elijah’s reign of terror. It took a lot and a heavy loss to finally destroy him, saving the town and those innocent people he abused.

Sex should be fun, adventurous, and most importantly, consensual.

Ten minutes later, Hawke and Fallon were walking back into the office. His brow arched as his eyes glared at mine, seeing me in his seat. Fallon kissed her husband before scurrying out of the room.

“Do you two ever take a breather?”

He smirked. “What do you expect? I’m addicted.” I rolled my eyes. “What can I do for you, boss? Other than the free show?”

“Hunter caught some suspicious activity on the cameras by the dock.”
