He liked a good donut.

How many calories were in a box of donuts? There had to be a couple thousand.

Whatever.

Eating was overrated anyway.

Goose bumps sprang along his arms, rippling across his chest as he tossed the damp towel over the shower door. He grabbed a brush and ran it over his still damp hair then reached for the toothbrush, making quick work there too.

He sensed more than heard Cash coming into the bedroom. Dev swished the cold tap water through his mouth and reached for the hand towel, another Cash purchase. His guy came into the entry of the bathroom. It was the smaller of the two bathrooms but had enough room for his skinny ass and his big, muscled guy who came to stand behind him.

“You ready for me?” Cash asked huskily, his hands rested on Dev’s hips as they stared at each other in the mirror. Cash nestled his still-covered hard steel between the crease of Dev’s naked ass cheeks. The grin was instant, relishing all the calmness that came with Cash. “You okay?”

“I’m gettin’ too skinny,” he murmured, settling back against Cash while running a hand over his ribcage.

“You’re perfect. More handsome than a guy has a right to be. You always have been perfect.” Cash’s hand covered the one Dev used to point out his ribcage. “We have cauliflower chowder left over. I can go warm you a bowl.”

Dev barked out a laugh that might have bordered on psychotic and turned in Cash’s arms, lifting his hands to Cash’s dress shirt. He pulled it free from the waistband then started unbuttoning the shirt from the bottom. “I’d rather wait for the box of donuts I plan to pick up in the mornin’. If I eat a dozen in the mornin’, and a dozen tomorrow night, then do that for a week, I’ll fatten up. That’s gotta be five thousand calories a day. Seems legit.”

Cash only stared at him as if that were the dumbest idea he’d ever heard. “It’s a good thing you’re pretty. I think you need to mix some nutritionally dense foods in there. I promise I make good vegetarian food.”

“We’ll start with the boxes of donuts and work from there,” Dev teased, lifting each of Cash’s wrists to unbutton the sleeves. “Food of champions, I’m sure.”

Cash crooked a finger under Dev’s chin, lifting his face, staring at him as if trying to read his mind. Hell, he struggled reading his own thoughts. How could anyone else know what was going on up there? “What? I’m gettin’ you out of your clothes. It’s a goal.”

“Are the girls going to the funeral? Do they need to ride with me?” Cash asked. “I can rent a bigger car.”

“You’re gonna go?” Dev asked.

“I’m your boyfriend,” Cash answered with a hint of condescension while grinning that pretty smile he had. His tone definitely edged with a “you’re dumb, silly boy.”

Dev grinned.

“Yeah, you are.” He pushed the shirt over Cash’s broad shoulders. “You wear too many clothes,” he said, looking pointedly at the white T-shirt underneath Cash’s dress shirt. Cash lifted the T-shirt from the bottom hem, carefully taking it over his head so as not to hit Dev with a random elbow or hand.

What Cash didn’t do was flip the piece of hair back that fell on his forehead. His guy was so pretty and so considerate in all things. Man, he had it bad. “I’ll leave it up to the girls if they wanna go. One-percenters do funerals differently than normal people. The Disciples’ll show up as the family. Our bikes pull straight to the coffins because we’re doin’ it all at the cemetery. It’ll get loud. Shanna’ll have a place to sit. I’ll make sure there’s seats for you and the girls if they go.”

“Good. I wanna be close just in case anyone gets any ideas,” Cash said and pressed his lips to Dev’s neck, nipping at the skin. He whispered, “Since you don’t know how to duck.”

“Ha. Ha. Agent jokes aren’t all that funny. I’m glad you didn’t shave,” Dev said, extending his neck while releasing the button on Cash’s slacks then lowering the zipper.

“You like whiskers rubbing on the inside of your ass cheeks. I might not ever shave again,” Cash breathed, placing another kiss along his jaw. His tongue licked around the shell of Dev’s ear before plunging inside. He closed his eyes, leaning into the sensual way Cash loved him.

He turned, chasing Cash’s lips, wanting that sinfully skilled tongue fucking his mouth like it fucked his ass.

“We’re good together,” Dev whispered, nipping at Cash’s lips until his guy opened, letting him all the way in. Oh fuck, he was so into the way Cash’s tongue lovingly and possessively ran over his, plunging and caressing his way deep inside. Cash made him dizzy, all warm and melty inside.

Thought and reason slipped away. Dev adjusted for better access, and used his hands, pushing down the slacks while gripping each fleshy globe of Cash’s ass cheeks. He yanked their bodies together until they were flush against the other.

Man, Cash could fucking kiss. Their tongues tangled and melded. Cash deep-dove into his mouth over and over again. Dev’s hips arched of their own accord. His need for this guy drove the pleasure through the roof. How did Cash do this to him so effortlessly?

As sweetly as Cash entered his mouth, he pulled back, licking and nipping while kicking off his loafers. He gripped Dev’s jaw, adjusting him until they were eye to eye. “You know I love you. Why won’t you say it back?”

“Fuck if I know why,” Dev murmured, reaching for Cash’s lips. A move he executed stealthily. Biting into Cash’s lower lip, only enough to make it sting so good.

The pressure was back. He had to find a way to say the words before it was too late. He should fucking say them right now. He jerked back, his gaze clashing with Cash’s, his heart stuttered then gave a hard ache.

They stared at one another.
