She kept talking that freaky shit, drawing me closer to my own nut as I felt her cum again. “Where you want this nut?” I frowned, ready to explode.

“I wanna taste it, papi!” The way she said that shit while looking back at me as she continued working her hips through her own orgasm made it almost impossible to pull out. I was already shooting my seed in the condom when I pulled away and snatched it off, just in time for her to catch the last drops. She didn’t even flinch at the fact that I’d hit her hair and shirt as she did a two-hand twist like she was milking my shit. “Mmhmm, ittastes as good as I thought it would.” Real shit, I was still trying to gather myself as she scooped up what she could from her clothes and sucked it off her fingers. That shit had my semi-hard dick twitching back to life, ready for a round two, but a knock on the door stopped me.

“Raya, we need to go! It’s Dex, he’s in the hospital!”

She rolled her eyes like hearing that her husband was in the hospital was an inconvenience. “Guess we’ll have to pick this up another time.” She didn’t have the slightest sense of urgency, not even pulling her skirt back down as she switched to the en suite bathroom to clean up. “You’re more than welcome to wash up in here, or you can use the wipes by my desk,” she tossed out over her shoulder, still sounding way too relaxed for a bitch whose husband was probably dying or some shit. Opting to get the fuck away from her crazy ass, I snatched up the wipes and cleaned myself up quickly, making sure to wrap the condom before putting it in my pocket. She was too off to risk leaving that shit there. I didn’t even say shit as I headed to the door, but she must’ve sensed me leaving because she stuck her head out with a smile. “Call me!”

“Yeah, that bitch nuts,” I grumbled lowly, making a note to throw her damn number away as soon as I got the chance.

Chapter 5

Avery McCarter

Ihad a week and a half left before my wedding, and already, shit was going downhill. The wedding planner had lost track of some of the decorations, the caterer was trying to say they didn’t know if the cake would be able to survive the trip, and despite my new exercise routine, my dress still wasn’t fitting right. I paced the length of my new closet, which was the size of an apartment, trying to calm myself down and resist the urge to scream. It felt selfish to call and vent to Keyani about shit that seemed small in comparison to what she had going on, especially when she was going out of her way to not burden me, and I damn sure wouldn’t waste my time calling Gabby. She’d been distant for months, and when she did come around, she had a stank ass attitude that I tried to ignore since besides our father and AJ, she was the only blood family I had left. I knew if I called her complaining, she’d try to make me feel stupid, and that was if she even answered. I was contemplating calling Ms. Eva at this point, and knew I had to be desperate as hell to even consider her.

“Aye baby, I’m bouta head out—wait, what’s wrong?” Maasai appeared in the doorway, and in seconds, he was in front of me. I hadn’t even realized I’d been crying until he lifted my face andthumbed my tears away. As tough as I’d always thought I was, whenever I was around my husband, I instantly transformed into putty. That was the effect he had on me, and there were times I loved it and times I felt like a straight-up punk. Now wasn’t one of those occasions though.

Blinking back the fresh tears threatening to fall, I buried my head in his chest. “Everything’s going wrong! Some of our wedding decorations got lost in transit, and Athena said we might not be able to ship the cake without ruining it, and…and…I can’t fit my dress!” Saying it all out loud only had me crying harder, and a laugh rumbled deep in Maasai’s chest. I narrowed my eyes up at him, ready to curse his ass out, but that only had him laughing harder.

“Baby, that’s all? You’re talkin’ like you’re not married to Mr. Make Shit Happen. It ain’t much money can’t fix, and we got a lot of it. We can just reorder the lost decorations and fly them out with us, and the same with the cake. As far as your dress, that’s what seamstresses are for. Tell them we can pay double if they get it taken out in time. I know this is important for you, so I’ll be sensitive about your feelings, but baby, I don’t care about anything besides marrying the love of my life…again.” He smirked, dropping a kiss on my lips that had me melting inside. I didn’t know if it was because of the way he spoke with such confidence or the fact that he’d been able to think of solutions in a matter of seconds, but suddenly, I felt silly for even worrying in the first place.

“I hate when you make so much sense.”

“That’s what I’m here for. I can’t have my baby stressing about nothing, not when big daddy’s here,” his cocky ass joked, chuckling as he kissed me again. His hands slid to my waist, and he sucked my bottom lip into his mouth, causing an involuntary moan to slip out. I squeezed my thighs together, already feeling that familiar ache between my thighs whenever my husbandtouched me. The way this man was capable of making me feel so many different emotions in a matter of minutes was still crazy to me. I’d gone from crying to annoyed, and now I was ready for him to fuck me right in my closet. Our kiss deepened, and I reached for the Hermes belt holding up his jeans. “What you doin’, girl? I’m s’posed to be leaving.” He pulled back but didn’t make a move to stop me.

I finally got his belt and jeans undone and had my hands wrapped around his hard dick before they made it to the floor. “I’m tryna suckbig daddy’sdick and swallow his kids before he leaves. Is that okay with you?” I raised a brow, knowing the answer without him having to tell me. If his hardness wasn’t a dead giveaway, the look of lust on his face told me everything I needed to know.

“Shiiit, when you put it like that…” His voice trailed off as I lowered myself to my knees and swallowed him whole. He leaned against the display island in the middle of the room and caressed my face. “You’re so fuckin’ sexy, Aves.” The added encouragement had me channeling my best Pinky the porn star impersonation. Drool slipped out of the corners of my mouth and down my chin while I jerked him off with both hands. I could already taste his pre-nut on my tongue, and I moaned in anticipation of him exploding down my throat. Maasai’s dick got harder, stretching my mouth until my eyes watered, letting me know he was about to nut. “I’m bouta fill that pretty ass mouth up. You gone swallow all of it?” he grunted, face twisting as he squinted down at me.

“Mmhmm,” I hummed, and the vibration sent him over the edge.

“Fuuuuck!”

I pulled back just enough for him to watch his nut shooting into my mouth while I continued to stroke him. Nastily, I kept my mouth open so he could see before I swallowed every droplike I told him I would. I wiped my chin with a smirk as Maasai pulled me to my feet and hungrily attacked my lips. His dick was already poking at my wet center as he gripped the back of my thighs, lifting me up like I weighed next to nothing. We both let out a satisfied sigh when he slipped inside me, filling me all the way up. That round of oral had quickly turned into a whole lovemaking session that turned into a quickie in the shower before he finally left, almost two hours later. I was damn near ready to take a nap, but I needed to smooth out the last wrinkles in our wedding plans. After getting dressed in some comfortable clothes, I called Athena back, along with the bridal shop, who thankfully said they could squeeze me in the same day.

A dizzy spell hit me as I reached the first floor to leave, and I had to grab ahold of the railing to keep from busting my ass. At the same time, my stomach growled, and I realized it was damn near the afternoon and I hadn’t eaten yet. I made a beeline for the kitchen and grabbed a banana for the road before heading out the door.

Traffic made the normally short drive take almost an hour, so the good mood I’d been in when I left home was gone when I finally pulled up to the boutique. I wasn’t even sure they would still be able to squeeze me in, but with the way I was feeling, I’d curse a bitch out for trying to turn me away.

“Avery!” The shop owner, Victoria, glided across the room as soon as I entered. She was already grinning from ear to ear, and I know that had more to do with the extra money I was throwing in for altering my dress than it did to actually see me, but that was fine with me. “Hey, honey, we have you all set up in room two, and your dress is already in there. Just let us know once you’re dressed, and I’ll have the seamstress come in for a word,” she gushed, waltzing me past a bridal party that was oohing and ahhing over their bride’s dress. I had to admit, she looked beautiful even without being glammed up. Weddingdresses had a way of boosting a woman’s beauty and confidence as soon as she put it on, and mine had done the same for me… until that shit didn’t fit anymore.I bet she’s not gonna have that problem, I thought, suddenly feeling anxious all over again. Victoria was still rambling on, but I’d stopped listening as my self-deprecating thoughts seized my mind. She led me into the dressing room where my dress was hanging and closed the door, letting me know the seamstress would be in shortly.

I took my time neatly placing my things on the bench, before undressing slowly and then taking the added step of folding my clothes. Completely avoiding the mirror, I turned back to my dress, almost dreading how much tighter it was going to be after this last week. I’d tried to do what Keyani said and not weigh myself, but even without stepping on a scale, I see the differences in my body. Let Maasai tell it, nothing had changed, but I knew he was only trying to make me feel better. I probably wouldn’t have even cared if it wasn’t for the $20,000 dress staring back at me, letting me know my ass was spreading at an alarming rate.

A light tap at the door snapped me out of my thoughts, and I finally took my dress down off the hanger. “Just a minute!” Sighing heavily, I stepped into the pool of fabric and pulled it up, having to do the shimmy once it got to a certain point at my thighs. Thankfully, I didn’t hear any tearing, but I could feel how tight it was, and when I turned around, I knew she’d need the jaws of life to pull the zipper up. As bad as I wanted to take it back off and just leave, I went ahead and called the woman in.

“Hey, bride-to-be, I heard you need some more alterations.” I sighed in relief, seeing that it was Kristy, who was the nicest of the bunch. She was actually the one who’d helped me the day I chose the dress, so I felt a little more comfortable.

Turning so she could see the back, I rolled my eyes. “Unfortunately, yes, I really don’t know if it’s wedding jitters orwhat, but I’ve been consistently gaining since I picked out this dress.” As I spoke, my eyes burned, and I blinked rapidly. I wasn’t trying to freak this lady out by crying like an emotional nut. Flipping her ponytail over her shoulder, she gave an understanding nod as she took in the dress.

“Okay, well, I’ll be honest. It’s not as uncommon as you might think. A number of things could be the cause, but don’t worry, I can add a bit of stretchy fabric between the zipper and even a corset tie, I just need to take a few measurements.” She was still eyeballing the dress and circling me as she spoke, but she made it sound so simple I couldn’t help but calm down.

It took about half an hour of her moving around and prodding before she finally finished with a smile. By then, I was so comfortable, I didn’t even bat an eye at having to ask her for help getting back out of the dress. One minute, I was trying to shimmy it down my body, and the next thing I knew, another dizzy spell hit me, but this time, I wasn’t able to recover. I landed on the floor with a loud ass thud, and Kristy immediately started screaming. Victoria and a handful of other women all ran in as I confusedly tried to pick myself up off the floor.

“Oh my god! Don’t move, I’m going to call 911!”

“No, no, I’m…I’m okay,” I lied, not recognizing my own voice.

“No, you’re literallynotokay!” Victoria fussed. “Sharon, call the ambulance!” Instead of continuing to argue with her, I stayed my ass right there on the floor, trying to figure out how in the hell I’d gotten there.
