“Yes, you said,” Ella shot back. “You thought I would choose my cushy pampered life and my money over you, so you didn’t bother asking! How the hell was I supposed to chooseyou, when you weren’t even anoption?!”

Natt’s eyes blinked, once — but then his gaze flicked away from her, toward the nearby forest over her shoulder. Avoiding her, shutting her out, and the replying anger sparked bright and explosive in Ella’s thoughts. “And then,” she gasped, “you have the utteraudacityto show up almost ten years later, and break into my house, and kidnap me against my will, and take me toOrc Mountain! I amnot yours, Nattfarr!”

Natt’s black eyes snapped back toward her, something jumping in his hard jaw. “We swore a pledge,” he hissed. “You bear my scent. You gave me leave to kiss you, and taste you, anddrinkyou. You kept your maidenhead for me.”

There was a grim triumph on his voice, as though this were a convincing closing argument, rather than utterbullshit, and Ella gave a frantic, furious shake of her head. “No,” she countered. “I did no such thing. I was trying to wed alord. And if my maidenhead were not a valuable currency in such a transaction, I should have eagerly given it to Alfredmonthsago!”

The sound from Natt’s mouth was deep and guttural and dangerous, almost like a bark. “No,” he growled back. You would not, and you did not, and now younever shall!”

Ella’s entire body was vibrating with rage, like the fury was a breathing living thing, and she fought and failed to yank her hand away from his crushing grip. “You asshole,” she breathed. “Of course I shall. You shall safely return me home, before this wedding, so you don’t break that peace-treaty, and singlehandedly start anotherwar. And then, I will marry Alfred, as planned, and finally become areallady, and he will fuck me as hard and as often as he damn well pleases!”

Her voice had cracked at the last, perhaps betraying more than she meant — but there was another one of those guttural barks from Natt’s throat, deep and raw and broken. “No. You shall not. You shall not betray me thus. You shall not betray your ownselfthus. You care not for this man, this man cares not for you, he shall take you and use you anddestroyyou, lass!”

Ella’s head was wildly shaking, so hard she nearly stumbled sideways. “I don’t care,” she heard her wavering voice say. “I don’t. I’m in this for my family, and forme. I’ll keep my home, and I’ll be alady. I willmatter. I’llbelong.”

The look in Natt’s eyes was something Ella had never seen before, the clutch of his clawed hand almost painful on hers. “You shall not belong,” his voice croaked. “You shallneverbelong with them. You belong here, in these trees, under the sun. You belong withme.”

It was like the words were scraping deep inside Ella, clawing ragged at her very soul, and the shake of her head was compulsive, desperate, panicked. “No,” she choked out. “I don’t. I won’t. I can’t, Natt. I can’t, I can’t, Ican’t!”

She was very near to sobbing, for reasons she couldn’t even begin to follow, and she felt her free hand grasp blindly for Natt’s muscled arm, gripping with all her strength. Almost as if needing him to see her, to know, to understand — hehadto understand — and his unreadable eyes had followed her hand, blinking hard down toward it. Her thin pale fingers digging into his grey-green skin, her taut trembling body leaning close and desperate into him, the cursed wetness streaking down her cheek —

“I can’t, Natt,” she whispered. “Ican’t.”

And when those eyes came back to hers, their blackness almost seemed to widen, to twine deep into her soul. While she kept pleading with them, begging them, he had to, hehadto —

There was the sound of Natt’s breath, heaving in and out of his chest, close and hot and powerful — and then movement, life. His big body whirling strong against her, around her, dragging her up whole and safe into his arms.

And before Ella could think or speak or even breathe, Natt turned, kicked off, andran. Not toward Orc Mountain, but toward — Ella gasped, close into his hot sweaty chest — thehunting cottage.

He thrust the door open with his foot, striding easy and familiar inside, and then he slammed the door shut behind them, just as easy, without even looking. And suddenly it was like time had reversed, the world spun wholly back again, as Natt dropped his sword, stalked across the small room, and all but hurled Ella’s shaky, pliant form down onto the couch beneath the window.

Ella stared, aghast and appalled and whimpering, and there was another flurry of movement, his huge muscled body coming up tall and close over her. Straddling her on the couch, as those hands went to the waist of his trousers, and thrust them downwards.

And there, before Ella’s maiden eyes, was a huge, raging orc-prick. Long and thick and swollen, and already dripping with copious white.

“You can do this, woman,” he said, his voice an oath, a deep new pledge, rumbling rich and powerful between them. “And youwill.”

You will.

Ella stared at him, at that outrageous sight confronting her maiden eyes, and felt the world tilt, and begin to spin sideways. She would. Dothis, withhim, withthat, and she should have been shocked and appalled and terrified.

But instead, she just kept looking at him. Atthat. Hovering so near to her face, dripping that thick, sticky-looking white from a deep slit at the tapered tip. And just as thrilling, further down, was the thick veined length of it, the mass of thick black hair at the base, the taut ridges of his abdomen above, the swollen heavy bollocks hanging below. And Ella had never seen such a sight, had never once properly imagined what it would look like, or smell like, all musky woodsy maleness, heady and delicious enough to bring water to her mouth.

A brief glance up at Natt’s eyes showed them gone to hard, glittering slits as he looked down at her, and something seemed to stutter in Ella’s thoughts, breaking off stilted and breathless. Snatching, suddenly, at the visions of just hours ago — had it only been hours ago? — when Natt’s wicked tongue had spread her apart, opened her up, drunk her from the inside out…

But Natt was breathing hard now, his eyes squeezed shut tight, and Ella’s dazed, streaming thoughts still recognized that look, from so long ago. It was the same as how he’d looked when he’d smelled her, or touched her, and then pulled himself away. And he wasnotdoing it again, the bastard, so Ella drew a breath, drew in courage, hunger, madness— and then leaned forward, and took his hard, dripping cockhead into her mouth.

Natt’s gasp of shock was raw and unfeigned, his entire body gone taut and arrested over her — but Ella scarcely noticed, suddenly, because there was a huge hot cock in her mouth, and it felt strange, and utterly new, andglorious. Vibrating thick and hard andalivebetween her lips, pumping out more of that viscous liquid onto her tongue, and oh that was good too, a smooth musky sweetness. The essence of him, of Ella’s orc, slipping down her throat, hers.

She heard herself moan around him, and he was moaning too, his huge hands abruptly coming to her hair, her face. Tilting her chin upwards so he could look at her, she could look at him, his eyes already glazing with hunger as she sucked harder, took his thick length deeper into her mouth.

“Oh, my lass,” he murmured, his voice rough and raw, sending sharp shudders down Ella’s spine. “Look at you, with my prick in your sweet little mouth. Suck me, yes, drink me, taste me,ach—”

The words broke off into moans, his eyes on hers as that huge heft slid slightly in, and then out again. Vibrating against Ella’s tongue, dripping more of that thick liquid down her throat, and she sucked harder, sought to relax, to welcome him inside. Just the way she’d welcomed his invasions before, his thorough trampling of her innocence underfoot, and if only she’d known it would be this good, she’d missed out on this for years and years andyears—

She felt herself sucking harder, taking less care to keep her teeth out of the way, and she heard him hiss, his sharp claws now touching light against her hairline, perhaps in a silent warning. And he was such an utterbastardand he’d denied her this foryears, so in return Elladidlet her teeth scrape, not hard, but enough to make him rear back, a deep growl rumbling from his throat.
