Pride practically dripped from my tone as I spoke. “Yes, princess?”

Their face was redder than I thought possible, but they took a deep breath, their words more confident but still wary. “I need to go to the potty.”

As expected, neither Daniel nor Tristan even blinked or raised an eyebrow. “Thank you for telling me, princess. I’m so proud of you.”

Tristan detached himself from Ellery’s side, his eyes still firmly fixed on the TV. While I knew Tristan loved the movie we were watching, I was confident he was pretending not to pay attention to us so that Ellery would feel more comfortable.

Standing in front of the loveseat, I picked Ellery up and carried them to the bathroom. Setting them in front of the toilet, I pulled their leggings and panties down to rest underneath their cock. They hissed in discomfort when I wrapped my hand around their dick and aimed it in the bowl. “Is sensitive.”

“I know, princess. You were nervous about asking Daddy to go to the potty, weren’t you?”

Ellery let out a long sigh, and I heard the telltale sound of their stream being released into the toilet. “Kinda. I was so distracted by everything that I didn’t realize I needed to go till it was pretty bad. I was nervous, but then I thought about what you said at the restaurant, and it made me feel better.”

Ellery’s stream tapered off, and I got them cleaned up and tucked back into their panties. “Good job, princess. I’m really proud of you for remembering—no matter when or where, I’m always your Daddy. If we are ever in a place where you don’t want me to help you, you can say yellow. No matter when or where, the most important thing is that you’re happy and comfortable.”

Ellery turned around and hugged me so tight I could barely breathe. “I know, Daddy, but I love it when you take me potty. I’m sure eventually we’ll be somewhere I’m uncomfortable having you help me, and I promise I’ll tell you.”

“Good. That’s all I could ever ask for. Come on, let’s get back so you don’t miss any more of the movie.”

“Yay, movie time with Tristan!”

“That’s right, princess. Hop on up.” Ellery squealed in excitement as I picked them up, and their legs instinctively tightened around my waist. Their weight felt perfect against me, and I knew I’d never get tired of carrying them around.

About an hour into the movie, Ellery and Tristan were still bundled up together and were fast asleep.

“Both of them are absolutely adorable bundled up together.”

My heart felt incredibly full as I tore my eyes away from the sleeping pair to look at Daniel. “They really are.”

Daniel chuckled, looking at Tristan and Ellery, his face shining with pure happiness and affection. “You know I always imagined we’d be sitting together with our partners in our laps, but I think I prefer reality. They are precious, all bundled up together.”

My lips quirked into an uncontrollable smile. “I was thinking the same thing earlier.”

Daniel’s face turned serious, but I was no longer afraid. “David, I don’t think I’ve ever actually told you out loud how much you mean to me. In the few short years we’ve known each other, you’ve become like a brother to me. I’m sorry you spent so long feeling afraid. I need you to know that no matter what, we’re family, and I feel so incredibly blessed that we’ve both found our partners and get to go on this Daddy journey together.”

While I knew in my heart that Daniel considered me to be a brother, as I did him, hearing the words aloud brought a sense of peace I didn’t expect. “Thank you, Daniel. The same goes for me. You all are my family. I’m so sick and tired of feeling closed off and alone. I want todo my best to embrace our new little found family, and I couldn’t be luckier to have you by my side.”

Daniel looked at me with pure excitement filling his eyes. “I know you just started dating, but you two seem really good for each other. I saw the way they care for you. It was beautiful.” I thought back to how Ellery’s touch settled me, and their presence made me feel like I was invincible. Nothing could go wrong as long as we had each other.

I sighed blissfully. “They’re amazing and so incredibly kind. I’m falling so hard and fast for them, it’s terrifying.”

Daniel chuckled, and it made me laugh as well. Right, I forgot he was basically in the same boat as me. It had barely been three weeks since he’d met Tristan at the craft fair, and they were already moving in together.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to laugh, it’s just, I totally get it, man. Finding Tristan has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me, but it all happened so fast. I wouldn’t have it any other way, though.”

I couldn’t help the pure joy that bubbled up inside me, making me feel lighter than I had in years.

“Me either.”

“Daddy.” Ellery’s soft, sleepy voice echoed through the quiet. Both of our heads turned to where both our partners were cuddled up together. Tristan was still snoozing away, tucked against Ellery’s side.

“I’m right here, princess.” Ellery poked their head out from underneath the blankets.

“Can we go home pwease? I want bath time and Daddy snuggles.”

My heart nearly beat out of my chest. Ellery had said they wanted to go home. I knew they meant my apartment because their bed was way too small. I wasn’t even sure if they realized what they’d said, but it made me feel like I was floating in the air.

“Of course, darling.”
