I told Zeke about David and how we’d met when I was sleeping over at Daniel’s house. When I mentioned that we were moving in together, Zeke’s jaw was practically on the floor. “So, you’re telling me that in just a little over a month, both of you found our dream Daddy and are moving in with them?”

Both Tristan and I nodded while humming happily. “We just got lucky, I guess.” Tristan shrugged his shoulders.

Zeke sighed longingly, and it hit me. The club!

Just as I was about to ask Zeke if he’d ever been to The Naughty Nook, we heard our names being called out.

“Food’s ready!” Tristan cheered.

All three of us got up, grabbed our meals, and brought them back to the table. Once we’d taken a few bites, I got Zeke’s attention and leaned forward, keeping my voice low. “Have you been to the BDSM club in town called The Naughty Nook?”

Zeke shook his head. “No, but I’ve heard of it. Places like that are intimidating, and I don’t have anyone to go with me.”

Tristan started wiggling in his seat, and his voice was full of excitement. “But now you can go with us!”

I nodded in confirmation. “Our Daddies took us a couple of weeks ago, and it was super nice. My Daddy is painting a mural for their newroom, dedicated solely to those in the pet-play lifestyle. It was a very friendly place, and you’re always welcome to come with us. I think you’d love it, and maybe you’ll even meet the handler of your dreams.”

Zeke scoffed. “Yeah, right.”

Both Tristan and I shrugged. “Hey, we met our Daddies in the places you’d least expect them. You never know what’ll happen. Plus, even if you don’t find a handler, it’s still a really nice club, and we’d love to have you with us. We can play together!”

Zeke was more relaxed now and even seemed excited. “Yeah, I think that sounds like fun. We’d never really had the chance to hang out while in little and pup space, I think that’d be really fun.”

Excitement coursed through me, and I couldn’t wait to tell David and Daniel. I knew they’d have no problem with Zeke joining us. “They’re having an event at the club in a few weeks to celebrate the grand opening, and we’re going to support my Daddy and see his finished painting. You should come with us; it’ll give you plenty of time to think it through and fill out your paperwork.”

“That sounds awesome.”

After that, we continued eating our food as Zeke asked us questions about the club between bites. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to answer all of his questions, especially since the pet room was still under construction and we weren’t sure what it would look like when it was finished. Thankfully, we only had a few weeks until we could find out.

“That was delicious.” I sat back in my chair and groaned. I always felt so full after eating here. Their coffee and bread were divine. It felt as if my tummy would explode, but it was so worth it.

Chapter nineteen

David

The hum of Ellery’s sewing machine filled the silence as I used my digital pencil. I’d spent the past couple of weeks working on all the sketches and line art for Ellery’s book. After hours of hard work, it was finally time to start adding color—my favorite part.

A few nights before, I’d sat Ellery down, and we’d discussed moving in more detail. I’d been meeting with the relator and the house inspectors. Everything was going so well that we were expected to close on the house next week.

Both Ellery and I were excited to pack everything up and move into our new home together. Despite wanting to move in right away, we decided to wait until a few weeks after we got the keys so we could make some slight modifications.

Daniel visited the house with us and took some measurements. Thankfully, business for Daniel was slower this time of year, and he had just enough time to help build us a few things for the house. Elleryhad explained what they envisioned for their sewing station, as well as some custom shelves to help store supplies.

What Ellery didn’t know was that Daniel was also making a custom king-sized four-poster canopy bed. I also ordered a set of sheer purple curtains with sparkles to replace the ones that were too small for the new frame.

Daniel had started gathering the wood to make the bed frame the night after we’d viewed the house. The bed frame was the main reason I had asked Ellery if we could move in a few weeks late. The shelving and workstation Ellery wanted was simple and would only take Daniel a few days. I wanted Everything to be perfect, and it would also give Cameron and me just enough time to get the book ready for Ellery.

Every minute we weren’t working, we were either eating meals with Tristan and Daniel or slowly trying to pack and make sure we had everything we needed. It was Friday, and my princess and I were beat. This morning, it was all we could do to get out of bed. It was right then I decided that once it hit five o’clock, we weren’t allowed to work or even think about moving. We were in desperate need of relaxation, and as the Daddy, I was going to make sure we got it.

When my alarm went off at five, I closed down my tablet and headed toward Ellery’s room. Their door was open, but their machine kept them from hearing my footsteps, so I knocked on the door frame to get their attention.

“Hey, darling, it’s time to stop for the day.” And for the rest of the weekend hopefully.

Ellery stopped the machine and looked toward me with a pout. “But I’m not finished yet.”

I walked into the room and ruffled their hair, making them giggle. “I know, darling, but we’ve been working really hard. When we aren’t sewing or painting, we’re packing or buying things for the house.” My sweet Ellie huffed in frustration before looking up to meet my gaze.

“But there’s so much we have to do. Everything needs to be perfect.”
