And it had only started.
“I want to take you apart,” Javier hummed as he pulled back and peppered Desmond’s thighs and groin with kisses.
“Yes, please,” Desmond groaned, too far gone to be embarrassed by his neediness.
Javier could evidently sense everything racing through him. He laughed deep in his throat, then climbed up over him like a tiger stalking its prey. “Where did you say these condoms and lube are again?” he asked, teasing fire in his eyes.
Desmond made an undignified sound of surrender and nodded to the bedside table.
He could barely keep his soul inside his body as Javier reached for the drawer and brought out everything he needed. “You let me know if you don’t like anything,” he said as he ripped open the condom and put it on.
“I’ll like it,” Desmond gasped, then rolled to his side as Javier switched positions, lube in hand, to slot himself in behind him.
Desmond didn’t have words for the feelings that coursed through him as Javier pushed one of his legs up so he could slide his fingers between his cheeks to tease his hole. He didn’t know what he’d done to deserve the care and attention the gorgeous man gave him as he pushed a finger into him, then two, as he worked to loosen him up. For half a second, his mind raced through all the ways he could give as much as he took, but those thoughts evaporated when Javier lined up and pushed into him.
“Fuck, Javier!” he gasped, letting himself go as Javier pushed past any resistance his body might have put up to inch deeper and deeper into him.
“Yes, baby,” Javier hissed in reply, then let out a wordless grunt of pleasure.
It was amazing. Everything. Javier shifted their positions so Desmond was on his stomach, hips lifted, then curled over him, kissing his back and shoulders as he thrust. Any thoughts or fears Desmond might have had were blown away when Javier angled just right to nail his prostate. The sounds that came out of Desmond then defied description. His dick brushed against the sheets, but his hips were too lifted to give him any real friction.
He didn’t particularly need it, though. The intensity of the moment and the pleasure of being expertly filled by someone he genuinely adored and who he was confident cared about him in return was everything he needed. For the first time in his life, he started to come hands-free as Javier’s thrusts reached a fevered pitch.
“God, baby, yes!” Javier groaned, thrusting hard a few more times before slowing and slumping over Des.
Everything turned soft and dreamy as they collapsed to their sides, wrapped in the afterglow. Desmond couldn’t keep the smile off his face. He didn’t think he’d ever stop smiling again.
He didn’t know how much time had passed before Javier started laughing gently and said, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself. You probably have a whole supper planned, but it’s been a day.”
“I have no complaints,” Desmond said, rolling to face his lover. And he’d be damned if anyone, himself included, told him he couldn’t call Javier his lover. He rested a hand on Javier’s face, then leaned in and kissed him gently. “I do have an entire supper planned, though.”
Javier laughed again, embracing Des with his whole body. “Let’s clean up, then you can dazzle me with your culinary mastery.”
Desmond felt like making some sort of comment about Javier’s sexual mastery. He settled on smiling and kissing Javier warmly instead.
Half an hour later, after sharing a shower and dressing in more comfortable clothing from Desmond’s wardrobe, they found themselves in the kitchen doing exactly what Desmond had planned from the start.
“I hope you like asparagus,” he told Javier over his shoulder uncertainly as his sated lover watched with a hazy smile and hooded eyes from the kitchen table. “I didn’t stop to think about, you know, before taking them out of the fridge.”
“Good thing we got the sucking and swallowing out of the way before the asparagus,” Javier said with a wicked grin.
“Very good thing,” Desmond said, looking back at him with a bashful grin. He wasn’t opposed to sucking Javier off later, if they had time. Even after asparagus. “You can stay the night,” he added, just in case Javier thought he had to rush off once they’d eaten. “You can stay the entire weekend again. I wouldn’t mind.”
“Really?” Javier brightened as if he liked the idea.
“Well, we’ve been dating for ages, after all,” Des said, falling back into their make believe from the weekend before as naturally as sliding into his favorite pair of slippers.
Javier grinned at him as if he’d hung the moon, which did serious things to Desmond’s insides. “We most certainly have,” Javier played along.
Desmond somehow found the concentration to finish cooking and to plate their supper and bring it to the table. Once they were seated and eating their way through the roastedchicken, herbed rice, and buttery asparagus, it occurred to Desmond that if he was a boyfriend worth his salt, he should give Javier a chance to talk about his day.
“Is everything sorted with your agency?” he asked, remembering how downtrodden Javier had seemed at first when they’d met for lunch.
“Not even a little,” Javier sighed, picking at his food for a moment before spearing a piece of asparagus.
Desmond frowned. “Is there anything I can help with?”
A strange look came into Javier’s eyes as he studied Desmond across the table. Des couldn’t figure out why, but he suspected he’d said something wrong.
