“Nicky, no!” Reece hurried into the room, putting his back to the door and pushing back with all his might, but Nick was already there, one hand gripping the door and pushing against Reece. “I’m not ready!”
“Then I’ll get you ready.” Nick pushed the door open like a bulldozer, forcing Reece to stumble forward, barely preventing himself from face-planting. Reece couldn’t even back up a step before Nick’s arms were around him and he was being hauled toward the bed. “But first, you’re gonna tell me what the fuck that is I smell on you.”
Reece was lowered to the bed, nothing gentle about the motion, and he was hardly able to brace himself before Nick had a hold of the jacket at his middle. His nose was by Reece’s neck, first smelling his skin and then the jacket below.
“Whose jacket?”
“Jacket?” Reece had to peer down at it himself to even remember. It must’ve smelled like Harrison. There was no hiding it now. “O-oh… It’s Harrison’s. There was—”
Nick ripped the zipper down so fast it startled Reece, then he was leaning back, tugging Reece up by his wrist and stripping the jacket off him with rapid fury.
“What thefuckdo you mean it’sHarrison’s?”
“I was trying to tell y—”
“Were you with him?” Nick’s tone was urgent. Demanding. He looked… concerned.
“No! I was—” This time, Reece cut himself off, then pursed his lips in a half smile that was probably the most smug look he could muster. “Are you jealous, Nicky?”
“Jealous?!” He scoffed and threw the jacket on the floor. “The fuck do I gotta be jealous for?”
Maybe if Reece was sane, he’d be worried about Nick’s anger, maybe even shy away from him. But he wasn’t sane at all. Not anymore. The fire in Nick’s eyes just burned Reece up in the best way. He was aroused and who could blame him?
“You’re mine,” Nick said, long fingers curling around Reece’s neck. He dipped down closer, until they were nose to nose, and said, “I already let him know once.”
Reece swallowed, and Nick’s loose grip around his throat tightened a fraction. He was too hot and too hard, too fast—so fast it was dizzying. “Nicky, wasn’t like that…”
“Then what was it like, Reece?”
“Don’t you call me that, Nicholas.” Reece grabbed Nick’s wrist but was unable to push Nick’s arm away since Nick wouldn’t budge willingly. “Just because you won’t—ugh—listen!”
“I heard enough about that bastard. He shouldn’t even be breathing the same fuckin’ air as you.”
Seeing Nick so worked up was making Reece feel too many things to name. It made Reece think that Nick must feel something for him, because why else would he be so upset? He’d gone possessive, grumbling about Reece beinghis, and it couldn’t really get more official than that, label or no.
“It’s always been you, Nicky,” Reece breathed, his earnest words cooling Nick off slowly. It would always be Nick, too.Reece didn’t want anyone else. Just Nick. “So, you don’t need to—”
Nick kissed him. Reece, mid-sentence, eyes and mouth wide open, was kissed by the man he was wholeheartedly in love with. Not on his face or head—cheek, brow, nose, or chin—but full on his mouth, lips to lips, and Reece couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think. Couldn’t process this reality that was completely his. Something no one could ever take from him. His firstrealkiss with Nick. And it wasnothinglike the first.
It was a kiss that made the whole rest of the world fall away until there was nothing but the two of them, Nick’s warmth and scent swaddling Reece, his lips full and soft and as tender as they were urgent with that initial kiss pressing hard against Reece’s mouth. A kiss demanding to be met with a passion Reece could express easily, because it had all been bottled up for so long that the glass was beyond overflowing. It was bursting. Just like the fresh tears in Reece’s eyes. Just like his heart, pounding against his ribcage.
What he couldn’t convey with words, Reece would convey through that kiss. If it was their first and last, he’d make damn sure Nick never forgot it.
Reece’s hands cradled Nick’s face, his lips parting not to end the kiss, but to deepen it, his and Nick’s heads angling simultaneously to accommodate one another before their lips were pressing together again. Nick kept one hand on Reece’s throat, the other threading through his hair, and they kissed again.
And again.
Again.
And again.
They both moaned when their lips parted, tongues skimming over lips and meeting one another in a sinuous dance. Reece hooked his legs around Nick’s waist, rolling left and hummingappreciatively when Nick went with him. He had to be exhausted after his flight and the shift in time zones wasn’t easily conquered, but there was nothing about Nick that indicated any form of exhaustion.
Straddling Nick made it so Reece could find his mount andfeelhim hard and ready—always ready for Reece in the best way. Nick didn’t just lie down though, he surged up until he was seated, hands roaming Reece’s back, tongue, lips, and teeth thoroughly abusing Reece’s mouth. His lips were swollen, their teeth accidentally clashing in the midst of it all.
Nick tasted sweet in the best way—and Reece wished he could drink this man. Wished he could swallow him whole. Wished he could beg without breaking the kiss for even an instant, because he never would. Not for anything. Even when he was breathless and riding Nick’s lap, Reece just panted into Nick’s mouth, kissing him, licking along his tongue, and moaning all the while.
Reece’s hands cradled Nick’s face, holding him there while rocking on Nick’s cock until Reece’s whole body was thrumming with pleasure. Nick held Reece as if he feared Reece might slip away from him any second. But Reece was just chasing the high, drunk on Nick’s kiss, and still hoping it would never end when his body began quaking.
