How many times have I thought about that body. Bending her over and fucking her brains out… Fuck… way more than I’d ever admit out loud.

The corner of my mouth lifts as I finally look back up at her face. She has no idea. But she will. Because sooner or later… those thoughts aren’t staying in my head anymore. And I have a feeling she’s not going to like how much she ends up needing it.

“You must be Sierra, right? Tess told me you throw the best parties around here.” My attention keeps catching on her lips no matter how many times I drag it away.

“Of course,” she says with a soft laugh, like the answer should’ve been obvious. “There’s no party like aSierra party.”

“Cain Holloway.” I hold her gaze while offering my hand. “Nice to finally meet the girl everyone in this town seems obsessed with.”

Out of the corner of my eye, I catch Tess’s reaction, the shift in her expression—subtle but there, just enough to give her away. She lingers briefly like she’s debating something, then exhales quietly.

“I’ll leave you two to it.” She plays it off a little too casually.

As she moves past me, her hand slides lower than it should, fingers pressing against my ass with deliberate ease before she disappears back into the crowd.

Sierra rolls her eyes, a soft, almost innocent laugh slipping past her lips.

“Don’t mind my cousin,” she adds lightly. “She hasn’t had a boyfriend in a while.”

I tilt my head, unable to hide my amusement. “What about you?” I ask, my tone casual. “Do you have a boyfriend?”

She raises a brow, clearly finding this more entertaining than she should.

“Aren’t you a curious bunny?” she murmurs, amusement curling through the words.

“Only when something’s worth being curious about,” I say, letting the silence stretch between us.

Before she gets the chance to answer, her name gets called from somewhere behind me.

“Sierra!”

I glance past her, then back, that same relaxed look still in place.

“Looks like you’re needed,” I add, giving a small shrug.

She barely hesitates before excusing herself and slipping back into the party, leaving me alone.

I watch her disappear into the crowd before finally tearing my eyes away; the faint trace of her smile still burned into my head.

Now… let’s see how this plays out.

Chapter 4

Sierra

The party turned out better than I expected. Not that I had any doubts; it’s my party after all, but still… Tonight actually feels worth it. Probably because of whatever the hell Tess brought. These pills? Yeah… definitely not what I’m used to.

I didn’t think I’d be the one stepping away from my own party, but here I am, shutting the bedroom door behind me just to get a minute.

It’s hot. Annoyingly hot. And it’s not just the room.

I tug at my clothes, trying to get comfortable, but it doesn’t help. My head’s all over the place, and my thoughts keep slipping into directions I’d usually control a lot better.

Which is… interesting. I haven’t felt this turned on in a long time. But there are more than fifty guys in this house. Surely one of them can keep me entertained tonight.

Knock, knock.

My thoughts come to an abrupt stop as I turn toward the door, catching sight of a figure in the frame.
