“We’ll switch hands when we get married.” Justin kissed Scott as he rose from his knees. “The engraving is a protection and blessing that Amy wrote for us.”

Scott held his hand out, fingers splayed, staring at the ring. “It’s beautiful. And you’re amazing.”

“I just know a good thing when I see it.” Justin took his seat once more.

The manager returned with a bottle of champagne. “First bottle is on the house. Congratulations.” She popped the cork and poured glasses for both men. “Best wishes and all that jazz.”

They thanked her and lifted their glasses in a toast.

“To us,” Justin said as they clinked. “Forever and always.”

“I’m curious, do you already have something in mind for the wedding?” Scott asked.

“Ideas and possibilities, but nothing I’ve got my heart set on, except for the groom,” Justin replied. “I thought we’d figure that out together. We have plenty of options, even here in Fox Hollow. It can be as plain or as fancy as you want.”

“I like that,” Scott admitted. “I don’t have anything in mind either. I was much more worried about everfindingmy fated mate than thinking about the color of the napkins.”

“Then we can come up with something that’s perfectly us,” Justin said. “No matter what that looks like, I know it will be fabulous.”

For such a monumental milestone, the rest of the evening’s conversation was uneventful. They lingered over dinner and ordered the restaurant’s signature tiramisu dessert. When they were finished, they headed outside together, hand in hand. Scott almost felt like there should be confetti and a band, something to mark a big life step, but the world remained unchanged.

“That’s okay. We know, and our friends will know. That’s all the party I need,” Justin replied.

“I hope you canfeelhow happy you’ve made me,” Scott said as they walked back to the SUV. He focused his thoughts on memories of making love that morning hoping that Justin picked up on it.

“I plan to help youfeela lot happier when I get you alone.” Justin gave a lecherous waggle of his eyebrows.

“That sounds perfect.” Scott started to chub in his jeans at the thought.

As soon as they were inside the house, Justin took the lead, stepping into Scott’s space and backing him into a wall. He kissed Scott, soft as first and quickly growing more insistent as Scott wrapped one arm around Justin’s waist and slid the other up the back of his head.

“I want you,” Justin murmured. “Seal the deal. Make me yours.”

Yes!his coyote howled.

Scott growled feeling his coyote at the surface, kissed Justin again, and then slid a hand between them to grope Justin’s crotch. Scott felt Justin’s bulge pressing against his thigh, making his interest clear.

They managed to make it to the bedroom, shedding clothing between kisses, and tumbled onto the bed.

“We have all night,” Justin murmured. “There’s no rush.”

Once they were both naked, Scott maneuvered them into position for a sixty-nine so they could both give and receive pleasure.

“Takes the edge off.” Scott gave a sinful smile. “Makes the main event last longer.” Scott loved how responsive Justin was to his touch and tongue. Long licks sent shudders through his partner. Justin’s clear hunger in response made Scott feel horny and desired.

“Not going to last,” he managed, as Justin redoubled his efforts. I can’t wait any longer.Scott pulled back and changed positions before he sank his teeth into the base of Justin’s neck, deep enough to draw blood and scar. Justin did the same, biting into Scott’s neck. The mating bites sent a jolt through them like an electrical current completing the circuit. Scott swore that for an instant he could feel with Justin’s body and knew his thoughts.

They both came at nearly the same moment, bucking and jerking as waves of pleasure coursed through Scott, and Justin moaned as he enjoyed his own climax.

“That was—” Scott slid down Justin’s body and licked his stomach and cock clean, then kissed the tip.

“My turn.” Justin flipped around so he could reach Scott’s dick and licked up his release before returning to lie on his backwith his arms open in invitation. “Yeah, it was. And we’ve still got all night. Come back up here.”

Scott shifted positions so they could lie in each other’s arms. He kissed Justin and could taste himself on Justin’s lips, which was super hot. “In case you had any doubts, the bite sealed the deal.” Scott hoped Justin hadn’t changed his mind on wanting the visible and magical link, wondering how it felt with Justin’s psychic abilities.

“I know. I can feel it. The connection is already so much stronger.” Justin sounded curious and content.

“For a moment there, it felt like we were really one mind and one body,” Scott said. “Like the stories say. How did it feel to you?” He found himself holding his breath, since Justin wasn’t a shifter.
