He laughs at that before reaching for some body wash, signaling for me to turn around. I do as he says, then his hands move to my shoulders, slowly kneading the soap into my skin.

“Oh fuck,” I groan. “Definitely one of my favorite showers.”

Noah laughs as he lathers me from head to toe, even shampooing my hair before helping me rinse off. I do the same for him, and once we’re clean and rinsed, we turn the shower off and grab two towels.

I feel him watching me as I wrap my towel around my chest, and I look up at him curiously. “What?”

He shakes his head, what looks like a million thoughts running through his head. “Nothing.”

I shoot him a suspicious look that says I don’t believe him for a second when he opens the door to the bunk room. Instantly, we’re greeted with thunderous applause and wolf whistles. It startles me for a moment, and it takes me a beat to realize what’s going on.

Every single guy is in here, and they’re all huddled around the door like…

“Were you pervs listening?” I balk.

Connor cackles. “Wasn’t much else we could do, sweetheart. You were going off like my favorite porn star. Hey, can you do that whimpery one a little more, I’m almost there,” he says, shoving his hand in his pants and pretending to jerk off.

I scoff and roll my eyes as Noah laughs. All of the guys are laughing honestly, except one. Surprise, surprise.

Landon is sitting on a bed, staring at me blankly like I’m the most boring thing he’s ever witnessed before he diverts his attention to some book. God, he pisses me off for literally no reason. Just one of those people you meet and instantly can’t stand, I guess.

“I’ll see you later,” I say to Noah as I lean up and press a kiss to him.

He holds me for a second longer, and the room once against devolves into oohs, wolf whistles and catcalls. When we pull apart, he laughs and rolls his eyes as I shake my head and flip off every motherfucker possible.

Shane is enough of a gentleman to grab the door for me, seeing as one of my hands is clutching my towel for dear life and the other is busy telling every loser off.

“Milady,” he says with a deep bow.

I laugh. “Thanks.”

As soon as the door shuts, I hear the room erupt once more. Good God. You’d think they were twelve years old.

Chapter Nine

Noah

“Bro, ain’t no way Mr. Straight-Laced was the first to get some pussy on this fucking island,” Mason scoffs.

I just smile. His shitty attitude doesn’t bother me. The jealousy radiating off him tells me all I need to know, and he’s not someone whose approval I’m desperate to win.

“I mean, are we surprised? You saw the way the girls were flocking to him yesterday,” Calvin chimes in with a shrug.

“We’ll see how long that lasts. Give me a challenge where I can show off my skills,” Dallas says as he drops to the floor and slowly gyrates against it like he’s already gotten it pregnant.

The entire room erupts into laughter as Shane pushes Dallas over so he sprawls on the floor.

“So, come on. Tell us, how was she, mate?” Connor asks, excitement in his eyes.

I look up to see everyone, even the quiet ones, watching with rapt attention.

Shrugging, I attempt to appear unaffected, when in reality, I’m still trying to catch my breath. I mean, I was hoping I’d make a genuine connection on the show. If I’m honest, I’m not here justto win. I want to meet someone special, settle down, the whole American-dream thing, you know? I just didn’t expect to find her so quickly, so immediately.

“Clearly, you horny fucks heard plenty,” I tease. “Why don’t you stop worrying about me and my girl and go get your own.”

“Your girl? No one is locked in yet, everyone is fair game, baby.” Shane grins, a mischievous spark in his eyes.

I shoot a narrow-eyed look at him, and he bursts out laughing. I can’t tell if he’s just messing with me or not, and suddenly, I’ll be keeping a closer eye on him. A closer eye on all these guys, honestly.
