Before I can respond, he adds, “And she is entertaining because of who she is, too. How boring would the show or the movies be if they were all perfectly behaved?”

“I think you’re projecting how much you enjoy brats onto a kid’s tv character,” I tease.

Instead of denying it, though, he smiles and nods. “I never said my personal preferences weren’t involved.” He gives my shoulder a bump with his own. “I’ve missed having you in my group activities the past couple of days.”

“Is that your way of saying you’re bored of all the super well-behaved Littles and Middles?”

“It’s my way of saying I like having you around.”

It’s my turn to stop walking, trying to calm my suddenly erratic heartbeat. Because…wow. Nobody has ever said anything like that to me before. I’m a pain in the ass. An irritation. Sure, sometimes people find me entertaining, but only in small doses.

Then it hits me that, really, Kris only spent a few hours with me the other day. Even if it feels like we’ve known each other for much longer, he has only experienced me in short doses. He’s bound to get sick of me like everyone else.

Swallowing back my disappointment as those thoughts percolate, I start walking again, playfully teasing, “Well, maybe tomorrow I’ll sign up for your activity, then. Keep you entertained.”

Because apparently that’s all I’m good for.

Chapter Nine

Despite our banter yesterday, I’m still actually a bit surprised when Benji turns up to my Littles group activity. I’m back on the big, lush lawn space, this time painting rocks rather than canvases. Because this group is Littles and not Middles, I don’t have a lot of instructing to do; I’m just going to wander around the group, offering encouragements and suggestions for their arts and crafts.

But Benji turning up reminds me of the last time he was in my group, and of our cautious flirting and banter last night. And, before he can push my boundaries, I find myself ready to push his.

“Are you diapered?” I ask him, not bothering to drop my voice around the rest of the group.

There’s a glint ofsomethingin his eyes. Excitement, maybe? The blue of his irises seems to shine brightly as he answers, “I don't do diapers.”

Arching an eyebrow, I ask, “Have you gone potty?”

Benji’s face turns pink. He squirms. “No.”

“Well, you have to potty before the activityor wear a diaper.”

His plump lower lip juts out with his pout, and I remember too well how his mouth tasted the other evening. “But you know I like having accidents.”

I remember this, too, and our discussion about our shared kinks. About the things he hasn’t yet tried. My fixation and excitement over all the things he might enjoy, if he only had a chance to experiment with his kinks with the right Daddy.

With me.

Clearing my throat to stave off the arousal suddenly flooding my veins, I lower my voice for his ears only. “Wear a diaper today, then come meet me at cabin eleven later and we can see what we can do about the watersports, hmm?”

Benji’s breathing hitches. With his cheeks still pink, his pupils dilate. I’m pretty sure that I was right and that he is going to enjoy all the delicious plans I suddenly have for him.

His pink tongue sneaks out to wet his lips before he says, “But…I don’t have any diapers, Daddy.”

God, if I wasn’t supposed to run an activity for the next hour…

“I’ve got a couple in my backpack,” With my chin, I gesture towards the bag discarded next to the crate of rocks and painting supplies. Checking my watch, I note that we still have five minutes before the activity is scheduled to start. “You’ve got enough time to hustle your cute butt to the toilets to get changed and back here before we start.” I want to offer to take him and change him into the diaper myself, but I have to finish setting up for the activity. To up the ante, I add, “But don’t go potty while you’re there. You can use the diaper if you can’t hold it until we get back to my cabin later.”

As predicted, his pretty blue eyes gleam at the challenge and those perfectly kissable lips twist into a smirk. “I won’t be using the diaper.”

We’ll see about that.

It’s a hot day. We’re working in the sunshine. I’m going to make sure the group stays properly hydrated.

It’s only responsible of me as one of the camp counselors, after all.
