“No way, open up!” Oli’s voice shouted back.
He disentangled himself, with a whimper of protest from Skyler, and got up. “What do you want?” he said, opening the door.
“You guys have to come to J’s room,” Oli told him.
“Why?”
“Because we found some girls.”
“You found…”
“Yeah!” Oli grinned. “These fans spotted us when we were going back to our rooms. They’re staying in the hotel with their families, but they snuck away and want to hang with us. They’re in the room with Noah and J, and J picked up a bottle of liquor the other day, so we’re going to keep the party going!”
Trevor stared at him. He loved Oli, but right now he wanted nothing more than to get back in bed with Skyler and cuddle him until they fell asleep. He was about to close the door in Oli’s face, but then Skyler came up behind him and asked what was going on.
He sighed. He had a feeling they’d be joining the party. “Do you want to go hang out in Jermaine’s room with some girls they met? Or would you rather stay here and go to bed?”
“Ooh, I love making new friends! Let’s go!”
Oli gave Trevor a triumphant grin. “We all know what Skyler wants Skyler gets, so come on then.”
He sighed again. Yes, it was obvious he’d give in, but that didn’t mean he had to be nice about it. To Oli, at least. “I hate you.”
“You love me,” Oli fired back.
“But not as much as he lovesmeee,” Skyler chimed in, leaning so hard against Trevor’s back that they both almost topped over.
Trevor promised Oli they’d meet him in Jermaine’s room and then shut the door. He grabbed his and Skyler’s shoes, slipping into his own before kneeling down at Skyler’s feet. Skyler placed a hand on his shoulder for balance as Trevor helped him into his shoes. And then…
Looking up at his boy, Trevor had a moment.
He kept his promises. He would love him forever.
How could he not?
Chapter Sixteen
Before
TREVOR
“We’re going to getin trouble,” Noah said, before taking his second shot of Jameson straight from the bottle.
“No, we’re not,” Oli argued, grabbing the bottle for himself.
When Oli tried to pass it to Skyler, he waved it away. “Think I’m good.”
Trevor was glad for that because it was one thing for Skyler to act wild in front of the crew, but it was another for him to do it in front of fans who could blab about it. He didn’t want the press to get a hold of a story about Boys Will Be Boys getting plastered in a foreign country on Christmas Eve. With possibly underaged girls, no less.
His concerns slipped to the backburner, though, when he wound up on a small loveseat with Skyler curled into his chest. He fisted his hand into the back of Skyler’s soft sweater as Skyler nuzzled into his neck like a cat. They could have been doing this back in their own room, but if it made Skyler happy, then Trevor was happy to be here.
The rest of the group started in on some kind of Truth or Dare drinking game hybrid, and Skyler seemed content to simply sit and watch.
Trevor left him alone a minute to get him some water from the bathroom, and Noah followed him in there, hovering in the doorway. After filling a plastic cup, Trevor turned to him and cocked his head.
Noah cleared his throat. “I’m sorry about earlier. I want you to know that anything I’ve said about you guys has nothing to do with you being gay.”
“I’m bisexual, actually,” he corrected.
