When Sam asks if he can hold the baby, Addie nods, and I pass him along.

It should be illegal for a man to look that good holding a baby.

“Whoa, Addie,” Hayden whispers, staring at the little guy. “You literally grew an entire person. You’re like a…human 3D printer.”

Addie snorts, the first real sign of anything other than sadness since I got here. “I missed you, Hayden.”

Mabel smiles. “He’s a good big brother, ain’t he?”

My pyro flushes, rubbing the back of his neck. “Ah, well, you know…”

I laugh, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “You’re so cute when you blush, darlin’.”

“Mabel?” Roland says suddenly, looking between my sister and my friend. “Is it alright if I talk to you guys alone for a minute?”

Mabel’s eyes widen as she nods, and exchanging a curious look, the guys and I excuse ourselves, waiting in the empty hallway.

“What do you think that’s about?” West mutters after closing the door behind him.

“I’m not sure,” I frown.

“So we’re not going to talk about it?” Hayden asks suddenly, looking perplexed.

“Talk about what, Darlin’?”

“How fucking hot you look holding a baby.” He says it like it should be obvious. “Fuck, andnowall I can think about is getting you home so we can plant our own babies inside you.”

I bite my lip, grinning. “Is that right? My good boy wants tobreedme?”

Hayden groans, and Sam huffs. “I mean, I’m pretty sure we all do, but at least I had the foresight to not start the conversation in a damn hospital hallway.” He glances around, making sure there’s nobody around to scandalize.

“What do you think, then?” I look between the guys. “I’m not ready right this very second for kids…maybe in another year, but I’m all for…practicin’.”

“Fuck, I love you,” Sam murmurs before leaning down and kissing me.

“I, for one, love practicing.” Kole grins, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

“I’m ready whenever you are, Siren.” West takes my hand.

“I think I already made my stance on thisveryclear,” Hayden deadpans.

“Well, since we’re on the topic of the future…” I trail off, looking between them. “I wanna run somethin’ by you guys.”

“Shoot.” Sam grins.

“I was thinkin’ about how the twins propositioned the omegas, and one of them asked if they’d be taught how to defend themselves. I think…I think I’d like to open an omegas-only gym and self-defense center.”

Brows shoot up all around in surprise.

Hayden recovers first. “Holy shit, that’s a great idea, Fireball.”

“And…” I look to Kole. “I was thinkin’ we could approach your brothers about a partnership—or at least a deal on the territory. I don’t want to encroach on their apartments, but I don’t think agym is somethin’ to put in the basement of a buildin’. Not when it’s that many omegas.”

“We can certainly talk to them,” Kole nods. “It is an excellent idea, lyubov' moya.”

West presses a kiss to my hair. “You’re amazing.”

My cheeks flush at the praise, and Sam smiles at me. “You really are full of surprises. I would love to help you with that if you needanything.”
