She swayed toward him. “Nobody is gonna get hurt, right?”

Cue smiled. “Not you,sweetheart.”

She bit her bottom lip, completely enamored with Cue.Was this shit really going to work?Cross had his doubts, but seconds later, Eden pulled away from her friend, walked to the door, and punched in the code. The door unlocked, and she stepped back. Ace went in first, followed by Cue, then him. He looked over at Eden but her gaze was pinned on Cue’s back. As the door slammed shut, Cross smiled and shook his head.

Ace looked back, smirking. “Fucking Cassanova.”

Cue ignored the taunting as they made their way down the hallway. As they turned the bend, Cypher, Gent and Oak met them.

“Wraith and Ghost get in?”

Gent snorted. “Pretty sure I heard glass breaking. That angry motherfucker has never been known for his patience.”

True.

When they breached the doorway to the main room, some of the Satan’s were standing, looking toward the front door. It gave him time to take in the body count in the room. Seven members including the two they were looking for. This couldn’t have worked out better.

In unison, they all pulled out their guns, aimed directly at the Satan’s. Cross cocked the barrel and the room fell silent.

Surprise, motherfuckers.

Griggs froze, and slowly glanced over his shoulder.

Ace smiled. “I take it you know why we’re here.”

He dropped his chin to his chest. “Fuck!”

Spinner held up his hands. “It was a misunderstanding, brother.”

Bullshit.

“What part?” Cross snapped, stalking across the room. “You fucking tell me what part my old lady misunderstood.”

Spinner knitted his brows. “Brother, I didn’t even know you had an old lady.”

“Well, now you fucking do.” He clenched his jaw, tightening his grip on his gun. His patience was dwindling.

“Alright, hold the fuck up.” Griggs spun around, clocking the two guys who’d attacked Addison. “You said the old man at the store pulled a gun on you. Where was his fucking woman?”

The two men eyed one another and slowly backed up. They wouldn’t get away. As Cross started to advance, Gent grabbed his shoulder.

“Story time, assholes.” Gent walked across the room, stopping a foot away from one of the men. “After leaving our clubhouse, these two dipshits stopped at our store.” Gent smirked. “And I sayourstore because everything in Killcreek, including the people are property of the club.” He turned to the man, smiling. “We don’t like when people fuck with our property.”

“We were just messing around.” The man said and Gent laughed.

“Having a little fun?” Gent taunted.

When the man didn’t answer, Gent moved closer. If Cross had blinked, he would’ve missed it. Gent grabbed the guys armsand twisted them behind his back. It was the same position he’d put Addison in.

He groaned, thrashing and trying to fight against Gent but he wasn’t an even match. Physique wise it would’ve been a fair fight. But Gent held a certain level of psychotic crazy that empowered him over men twice his size.

Gent lifted the man’s arms and his face reddened, pained stress marred his features.

“Is this fun for you, asshole?”

The man grunted, shaking his head.

“Well, then maybe I’m not trying hard enough. How about this?” Gent lifted the man’s arms another inch then jerked them up. The crack of his bones echoed through the room but was quickly drowned out by the gut wrenching wail.
