I do not drink alcohol.

The very last time I drank, I woke up to my arms and legs bound to a bed and three vampires feeding off me. My boyfriend at the time had put something in my beer, so he could use me to pay off his debt.

My right hand goes to my left, rubbing the scars that are covered by big flower tattoos. When I got clean of the drugs I was being pumped full of and came down from the blood feeding high that you get, I got them, thanks to the Kings.

It took me some time, but I healed inside and out, learning to love myself and feel more confident in myself again. What happened to me was bad, really fucking bad, but I was alive and found my mate; little did I know that he was a vampire.

I was stunned when I found out, and I think it was my reaction to that fact that kept him away from me. Even though I came to terms to the idea of him, and I had healed, Thorin did what he did to keep me thinking he was a villain.

At the end of the day, that is exactly what he is.

It was Cotton who suggested that I cover my bite scars with tattoos. He led me to Spirited Ink, where Rolley got to work and designed my entire sleeve.

It is filled with flowers, skulls, and has a few thorns mixed in. It is a symbol of what I have been through and broken through. They are my healing tattoos.

Skyla told me once that maybe it is because of my past that Thorin has not claimed me. I believe her to some degree, though it should be up to him to talk to me, but he never has. He just continued to hurt me and made a fool of me for letting him.

Now is the time for me to heal myself from him and move on with my life. There will always be a part of me that belongs to him, as we are fated, but this is my new path in life, and I plan to live it to its fullest.

Thorin

Salem seems to be becoming a place where more and more people visit, only to wind up missing.

The club has been hired to find two missing sisters who were taken from the university campus a week ago. The police could not find them, so their father came to us, and told us to stop at nothing to find them.

Hidden in the depths of Salem, these two young women are bound for great things, as their blood is royal.

Tate, who is a friend of Camo’s Ol’ Lady, is the head honcho of the police department. He sides with the club more often than not now, knowing what we can do, but he is a fair man, and you do not see that much with the police anymore. He is dating Skyla’s best friend, Eva, so we have to look at the prick at most club events as he comes with her.

Camo, Halen, and Oryn are with me while we ride around looking for these two young women.

For the last three months, I have done job after job, getting myself into more trouble than I should but fuck it, right? Whynot do stupid shit when that is all I have done for the past four years?

Who would have thought that a man who is over three-hundred years old could still be stubborn and act like a surly teenager?

I have fucked plenty in my many years since I was turned by that bitch, but hurting Delaney has to be my finest act.

Being a villain in her story is the safest thing for her. I know what she went through; hell, I fucking found her. She was tied to a bed, blood seeping from so many fucking bite marks that I was surprised she survived.

We dropped her off at a local clinic to heal, as I would not let Halen do it. Not sure what it was about him healing her, maybe it was the connection they might have, but I refused to let him.

It did not matter anyway, because when she was healed, she came to the club and asked Winger if she could be a club girl. I fucking hated it, as I knew what she was to me, but I could not speak out about it because I knew that she had endured enough by the hands of vampires.

“Do we have any more info from Izzy?” Halen asks Oryn.

The fucker can speak to the dead and often links to the other side to see if they can help with any jobs the club takes on.

“No, she is still asking around.”

Some would say it is freaky that we have a ghost who is a sixteen-year-old girl, who lingers around the clubhouse.

Supernaturals can see her, but she will let a human see her too if she is feeling feisty and bratty.

Izzy is attached to Oryn, so where he goes, she goes. We are still not sure why she attached to him when she and her family died. We were there when the crash happened, but that is the only link as to why she stays with him.

We ride into the part of town where they were last seen, the campus, and climb off our bikes once they are parked up.
