“Anyway, back to the vampire fucking.” Clark wiggles his brows at me.
“You are a nosy fucker, you know that?” He nods.
“I do. So, stop with the stalling and start talking.” He points at me, circling his finger.
“Things are good. He gives me what I need, and I give him what he needs.” I shrug, not delving into too much detail but knowing this nosy bunch, they will ask for more.
“And by needs, you mean...?” Clark rolls his hands, the universal sign for me to carry on.
“Sex. Comfort.” I sip my drink.
“Woman, it is like pulling teeth with you.” Skyla winks at me, at Clark’s reply.
I sigh, shifting in my seat. “Fine. Sex is off the charts. He is everything I knew he would be. We found out that we both like certain things in the bedroom, so we are exploring that.”
“What things? Pray tell, my darlin’,” Clark asks.
“We both like blood play,” I rush out.
“What is that?” Eva’s question is a slur.
My gaze flickers to the people waiting for me to answer. Rocky winks; he knows what I am talking about, and Skyla gives me a nod of encouragement.
“It is where we taste each other’s blood, while having sex. It adds to the sensation and intensity of the moment.”
Eva’s eyes go wide as she looks at me. “I have never heard of that before. Do humans do that or is it just a vampire thing?”
She sounds intrigued.
“I have known some humans who do it too, but since vampires feed off blood, I can only assume that they enjoy it. It heightens the intensity of sex.”
“Tate is good at the sex thing,” she replies.
“I love you, sister, but I do not need to hear about you having coitus with your man,” Rocky whines.
“Coitus? Really?” I laugh at him.
“I know I am a sexy ball of muscle, but I know big words,” he scoffs before taking a pull of his beer.
“I mean, yeah sure, you know big words.” I bounce my eyebrows at him.
He returns my look with narrowed eyes, but I know it is in good nature.
“This thing with you and Thorin—it is happening and you are happy?” Clark queries.
I nod. "Yeah. We have talked. Not as deep as I would like, but he knows that he hurt me and that will take some time to forgive, but I do not think I will ever forget. It hurt my heart pretty bad; you all saw it. There is no future if you keep looking back, though.”
“When did you get all Yoda-like?” Skyla taps her foot on mine.
“Being in the club you learn things, see things from a different perspective. I do not fully know why Thorin did what hedid, but he seems different now. I am not excusing his actions, but he is trying.”
“Has he told you why he hurt you?” Rocky asks.
“NO.” I sigh. “Maybe I should push for him to tell me, so I know the reason. It could maybe help me understand a bit more.”
“He is a lot like Reece, Del. He has a dark past that he carried with him and used it as a reason to not do something that he was meant to do. Like claim me, and after he told me why, I got it, but like you said, that does not excuse the pain he caused,” Skyla explains.
She is right. Most of the men in this club come from dark pasts. Or have had to deal with some shit linked to their powers. I know that Oryn struggled with his power of seeing and speaking to the dead. His parents would hire him out for his powers. It hurt him and caused a lot of damage.
