She giggles, sending a shiver down my spine, and dashes past me. I watch her every move, my dark eyes following the sway of her hips and ass until she smiles back at me before walking out the door.

I’m chilling outside the trailer with Soul and Wrath beside our bikes, smoking a cigarette when my phone vibrates in my pocket. I slide it out and glance down at the screen to see it’s my uncle again. My teeth grind together in annoyance, and I press the button, placing it to my ear.

“What the fuck do you want.” I snap.

“I’m going to text you an address, call me when you’re outside.” He says before hanging up.

“You good?” Soul speaks behind me, and I give a small nod.

When I receive the text almost instantly, I look at it before shoving my phone back into my pocket, then mounting my bike.

I kick the stand, rev the engine and ride forward, heading to where he said.

When I arrive at the destination, I cut the engine across the street from a bar not too far from Oddity. I stare at it, noting that the area is more or less empty, but I can hear music thumping from inside and see people moving around within. I pull my phone out of my pocket, swiping to his number, and I call. After a few rings, he answers.

“You there?” he asks, his voice deep and gruff.

“Yeah, I’m fucking here, but why am I? This better not be some kind of fuck around again.”

“Oh, it’s not. She’s in there,” he responds in a menacing tone. “Look through the window if you don’t believe me.”

I sigh, stepping off my bike and walking toward the bar. I stop at a window, gazing through one of the squares, my eyes scanning over everyone.

“Far right, at the back.”

I look in that direction, but it’s not Harley.

“What the fuck is this, Kyro?” I say through tight teeth, my eyes focused on Noir beside Blush.

“The blonde girl is Harley,” he replies calmly.

“No, it’s fucking not. It’s Noir.”

I hear him let out a soft chuckle, and my brows pinch in anger.

“She’s been right under your nose, and instead of killing her, you ended up fucking your own cousin’s killer?” he says with seriousness.

My blood runs cold, my stomach dropping as I stare at her. “You’re fucking lying.”

“I’m not, Hell. That is Harley. Ask her if you don’t believe me.”

“You told me she had dark hair,” I protest.

“She did until she dyed it to hide from me, just as she changed her name,” he says steadily. “Now bring her to me.”

My pulse pounds in my ears, my palms growing sweaty, everything blurring around me.

“Put those soft feelings aside, Hell. She is not who or what she says she is, trust me on that. She killed Kai.”

“Fucking trust you?” I yell down the phone with bitterness. “How long have you known she’s been at Oddity?”

When he falls silent, irritation takes over me and I whirl around, “How fucking long?” I shout.

“I’ve known where she’s been the entire time,” he admits.

My body tightens, and I gaze ahead as he continues, “You and me aren’t so different, Hell. See, you like playing games with your prey, and so do I. It must run in our bloodline.”

Reality starts to hit me. “You pushed her into my arms on purpose. That little nonce that she was with was your doing?”
