“You okay?” Eli’s voice damn near gives me a heart attack. He clicks off his phone where I assume he was watching the video feed.
I turn and he steps out of the office across the way. His gaze takes in me and Penny.
“He took the bait.” Penny joins her hands behind her and preens like she deserves an award. Maybe she does.
“Good.” He nods to the door to the party. “You can go back and enjoy the show.”
Penny pulls me in for a quick hug. “I had fun tonight. The talking I mean. It was good. We should get together when it’s not about boys sometime.”
“Yeah.” I step back and brush my hair behind my ear. “Maybe.”
She smiles. “I’m going to be your friend, Harper Davidson, just you wait and see.”
Turning, she opens the door and the sounds of the party spill out into the hallway before she pulls it shut.
Eli steps forward and pulls me into his arms, wrapping them around my shoulders. I rest my head against his chest and hold him around his waist. “You did well, kitten.”
I let out a mocking laugh. “It didn’t feel good.”
His chest rumbles beneath my ear. “You didn’t like kissing Penny?”
“No.” I sigh. “You guys have ruined me for normal kisses.”
“Is that so, kitten?”
I nod and breathe in his warm scent.
“Do you want to see the show?”
My heart stops. “I don’t know if I should. He’s going to be pissed.”
“He won’t hurt you. We won’t let anyone hurt you.”
The door knob of the bathroom rattles and we both turn to look at it. “Girls? The door is stuck.”
“There’s another door, just a second and I’ll go around to open it,” I yell loud enough to be heard. The bathroom is fairly soundproof, which is why we couldn’t hear the party going on on the other side of it.
Eli draws me over to the party door and opens it. The party vibes have quieted down as everyone blinks into the light. Jack holds up his hands for everyone to be quiet. As his gaze sweeps the crowd, he catches sight of me and winks.
He nods at Caden and Nico.
Eli brings me forward as Nico opens the door to the bathroom. Ethan’s smile fades as he realizes what’s happening. He’s completely naked with the exception of my silky panties.Caden steps in when Ethan tries to shrink away and grab his clothes.
Caden ushers him out into the party in just my lacy thong that doesn’t quite cover his junk, but he made a good attempt. He’s still hard.
I scan the crowd to get a read on the room. Phones are up and cameras flash. Guys laugh. Some guys wince. Girls giggle and talk behind their hands to their friends. My gaze falls on Penny. She stands with Nat toward the back and Nat gives me a grateful smile.
Luke walks over, clapping his hands slowly. “Ethan Parker. You look good in my girlfriend’s panties.”
Ethan’s face burns red. Rage, embarrassment. It doesn’t really matter. It matters that we get our point across. If you mess with me, we’ll mess with you back.
Caden holds onto the back of Ethan’s neck, keeping him from hiding.
“You wanted our girl, Ethan.” Luke steps closer. “Did she not live up to your fantasies?”
“Why would I want your whore?” Ethan spits out.
“She’s not a whore. Even though you wanted to make her one.” Luke’s gaze finds me. He’s giving me the option to join him or to stay on the sidelines and watch.
