“And you gone die behind this one, nigga.” I snapped my head behind me, and I saw Titan walk closer to me and the group of guys.
“Titan Samuels?” One of the guys said.
“You ain’t on the field no more, nigga. Fuck you and this bi—” before he could disrespect me, Titan was knocking the disrespect back down his throat.
I stood shocked for a moment but quickly snapped out of it and got between Titan and the man.
“Move, Tink,” he spat as glared down at me.
“No. You don’t need this and people are already watching so I know someone has recorded this shit,” I whispered harshly.
Moments later, Stacks and his brothers entered the VIP area.
“What’s going on in here, Cady?” Stacks asked.
“That bitch ass nigga snuck me over that stuck-up bitch!” The guy yelled.
“The fuck you just say?” Stacks asked.
The average person would’ve thought that I was about to get fired, but that definitely wasn’t the case. Stacks didn’t play that disrespectful shit about his employees.
“I said that bitch ass nigga snuck me over that stuck up bi—”
Before he could say it again, Stacks hit him again.
“Damn, that shit look like it hurt,” Buck laughed.
Stacks told him to shut the fuck up before he looked at me.
“Cady, you good?” He asked.
I nodded.
“Aight,” he stated.
“Nah, she’s about to leave,” Titan stated firmly.
“What?” I frowned. “I’m not leaving until my shift is over,” I sassed.
“Nah, it’s cool, Cady. That’s why his big ass is here. I already cleared it, and I’ll still pay you for the night,” Stacks stated.
I looked between the two of them and shook my head and walked off to get my things. By the time I made it to my car, Titan was already standing beside it.
“Why did you bring your big ass up here tonight showing out? I could’ve lost my job,” I fussed.
He waved me off.
“That nigga wasn’t firing you. I was trying to get back before you even came in. I wanted to chill with you and shit, so I asked Stacks to give you the night off.” He shrugged.
I shook my head and unlocked the car door with the fob, and he opened the passenger side door while I walked around the driver’s side.
“Nah, I’ll drive,” he called out.
“Where’s your car?” I looked around, and that’s when I noticed I didn’t see his truck.
“I had Graves drop me off. I didn’t think this shit through because I forgot you had this little ass car. Nigga gone be sitting in the backseat in this shit.” He frowned.
“Nigga, don’t be talking about my car. Nobody told you to get dropped off like you knew I was going to leave with you,” I spewed as I rounded the car and got into the passenger seat.
