"Fuuuuuuck," Kylian breathes. "I think our mate's in heat."

BRYLEE

The world narrowsto their pupils, all blown wide with predatory hunger. Kylian’s words are a death knell to my control, a switch flipped inside me that sends every coherent thought scattering like frightened birds. The heat isn't just a wave anymore; it's a riptide, pulling me under into a sea of pure, primal need.

My knees buckle, but Kylian’s arm is an iron band around my waist, holding me up. His scent is a drug, and I’m drowning in it, my body arching against his of its own accord, seeking a friction I didn't know I craved so desperately.

A low growl rumbles in Colter’s chest, the sound vibrating through the floorboards and straight into my clit. I whimper, my gaze locked on his as he takes a predatory step forward.

“She’s ripe,” he rasps, his voice a gravelly promise of everything I’m suddenly desperate for.

Luka is already crossing the room, his movements fluid and sure as he shoves the door to the nesting room wide open.

“Get her in there. Now.” His tone is sharp, a command that cuts through the haze, but it only makes the liquid fire in my veins burn hotter.

They move as one unit, a coordinated assault on my senses. Kylian changes my position in his arms, swinging me to face him, my legs wrapping around his waist instinctively. The hard press of his erection against my soaked core makes me cry out, a broken, needy sound that is swallowed by the enclosed space of the foyer.

He carries me into the room, the other three right behind him. The door clicks shut, and the sound echoes in the charged silence.

The mattress is vast and white, a pristine altar for the debauchery my body is screaming for. Kylian lays me down gently, but the moment my back hits the soft surface, I’m scrambling, my hands tearing at my own clothes. The fabric is torture against my oversensitive skin. I need it gone. Now.

“Easy, sweetheart,” Luka murmurs, his voice a balm and a brand all at once. He’s on his knees beside me, his knuckles brushing my cheek. “We’ve got you.”

But I don’t want them to be gentle. I want them to devour me.

My gaze flickers between the four of them, all towering over me, their scents a potent, intoxicating cloud of pine, rain, and leather that makes my mouth water. My hips lift off the bed, an offering.

A plea.

“Please,” I whisper, the word a ragged, desperate thing. “Alphas. Please.”

“Your heart rate is elevated, and your pupils are dilated,” Luka murmurs, his voice a low, cultured tenor. He reaches out, his fingers hovering just above my wrist. “May I?”

I can only nod, my throat too tight to form words.

His fingers press gently against my pulse point. “She’s in full-blown heat. We need to be careful.”

“Careful,” Ridge growls in agreement, his hand landing on my shoulder and tightening possessively. “But we need to take care of her. Now.” He looks down at me, his gaze softening with a tenderness that belies the ferocity in his scent. “This is your call, Brylee. Always. Do you want us? Do you want us to help you through this?”

The question is a lifeline. My body is screamingyes, a desperate, primal plea. But…

Three faces pop to the forefront of my mind. Three faces I once loved with the entirety of my being. Three faces that kissed me one day and stabbed me in the back the next.

I told myself I’d never love again. I’d never trust another pack, another alpha, another man as long as I should live. For as long as I can remember, familiar tendrils of panic raked down my spine whenever I eventhoughtabout being intimate with an alpha.

That panic doesn’t make an appearance now.

All I feel isfire. It blazes through me, lighting me up like a torch and searching for an avenue to escape. It merges all my scattered thoughts into one—yes.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

I look from Ridge's intense gaze to Kylian’s earnest one, to Luka’s focused attention, and finally to Colter, whose masked face is unreadable, but whose body language screams a single-minded need to claim. I am theirs.
