Walking back into the house, the light shines from around my bedroom door. Pushing it open, I see her lying on her stomach,in my T-shirt with nothing on underneath, as she writes something from her book.

The earbuds silencing my approach, biting my lip as I lean over her, my hand tracing up her thigh to her core. Snapping her head around out of instinct, she smirks as our eyes lock, and I nod for her to move her book out of the way so we don’t mess up her work.

Reaching up, she plucks the earbuds out and tosses them on the floor where she had pushed her book.

“How’d it go?” She asks me as her hands come up, pulling me to kneel on the bed in front of her.

“Fine,” I tell her. “He asked me again who was in my bed, though.”

“Oh yeah, and what’d you tell him?”

“That he didn’t want to know.”

She pouts her bottom lip as she looks up at me through her lashes. Pushing herself up as she reaches up, unhooking my belt and popping the button.

“He’s not gonna remember any of that in the morning. Not the time to tell him I’m in love with his sister.”

“Oh, you’re good.” She whispers as she pulls my jeans and boxers down to my thighs. “You know, I was gonna suck your dick anyway, right?”

“Wanna come and grab a celebratory drink with us?” Brandon, one of the guys from my class, asks as we walk across the quad.

“Can’t, sorry.”

“Yeah, someone’s being whisked away for the week.” Low teases me.

I can’t stop the grin on my face as I’m sure my cheeks are flushing, but trying to play it off by rolling my eyes.

“So, in case of an emergency, where are you gonna be?” She asks me as we approach my car.

“Topanga.”

She gives me a strange look, and I just shrug.

“He wants to surprise me. He sent me to the location, but I think he’s already heading up there.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know.” I shrug again. “I’ll send you my location when I get there.”

“Have fun.” She whispers, squeezing me tightly.

“This can’t be it.” I mumble to myself as the gates open, revealing a single-story home… or really, the roof of a single-story home is what I can see. A bridge creates a path through the landscaping, which conceals the rest of the house.

Well, I think a single-story home, but I’m probably just looking at the top story.

I’m about to turn around, calling Eli and telling him I’m lost and for some reason the code he gave me opened this gate as well, when I spot his bike.

Shaking my head, I kill the engine. Stepping out of the car and walking over to the bridge, following it until I can see past the greenery and see the vast canyon at our side.

“Eli?” I call out as I see the doors wide open to the breathtaking view.

No answer.
