I drag the blankets over us and pull her into me. We let sleep take us under in each other’s arms.

I woke up sometime in the early morning, with the sun shining into my eyes.

Aubrey stirs next to me, her warm body against mine. Not wanting to wake her, I reach over to grab my discarded phone from somewhere behind me on the bed.

Opening my email, I’m met with one from Nolan’s lawyer.

Dear Mr. Keaton,

On behalf of my client, Get Out of Here, we are sending a cease and desist for the photos on your website and in your blog. These photos were paid for by my client and you are not authorized to use them.

Please remove within the week or we will be seeking legal action.

Kind regards,

Thomas Cambridge

I actually laugh out loud, gaining Aubrey’s attention and waking her up from the half-sleep she was in in my arms.

“What is so funny?” She snuggles in closer.

“Nothing. Just my old boss trying to have some big dick energy. And failing.” I shut off my phone, turning to face her, and hoping for round two.

“Umm… okay. Well he’s definitely in the wrong battle.” She reaches between us and grasps my already hard cock in her hand.

“How about a little morning quickie before you have to go meet Aggie and Tommy.”

She rolls over looking at the clock. “Ugh. I wish. But I have to go in five minutes. I slept too late. Maybe tonight? You could come over if you wanted to.”

“I’d love to come over later, girlfriend.” I wink.

“Looking forward to it, boyfriend.” She climbs out of my bed, walking off ass naked to the bathroom.

“Why do you do this to me?” I groan, covering my eyes with my arm as she laughs at me.

“Just need to make sure you have something to look forward to later.”

“Killing me, woman.”

Sitting up with my feet on the cool floor, I take in all the things I need to pack up today. Luckily, I don’t have any furniture to move. But I can’t wait to surprise Aubrey later that I’m her new neighbor, a neighbor within walking distance.

Rushing into Aggie’s house, I wave to Cooper as he drives away after he drove me over to my house to change.

“My, my. We are running a little late, aren’t we?” Aggie stands in the kitchen with a shit eating grin on her face.

“Aggie,” I warn.

She holds her hands up in defeat. “Fine. I won’t push, but you know Tommy will at breakfast.”

“Ugh. I just need my girl. Where is the monster?”

“Helping Tommy pick out a matching shirt with her.” She laughs.

Of course she is. I don’t know where she got her affinity for matching, but she will take any chance she gets. I’m waiting for the day she asks to match Cooper. That day will probably be my undoing. Because he’s going to let her do whatever she wants, and probably take her shopping to do it, then add on lunch and toy shopping.

I laugh to myself at the scene playing out in my head. That man was made to have a daughter, and how lucky is mine to have him in her life?

“Mommy! I match Tommy!” Said monster comes running down the stairs and straight into my legs.
